Doesn’t work well
The company I do work with wanted to use this app. As a contractor I need to put my own jobs on the calendar as well. You have to use task but to see jobs you have to go out of the way. Same as there jobs all you see on calendar is name a order number. If I’m looking at the calendar trying to schedule a job I need more information as to where the jobs are so I can schedule accordingly buy zip codes based on their jobs and mine. Just doesn’t give much information without toggling back an forth between screens. My opinion it’s a waste for time. Thought after using for a few months I would update my review. I would and still give the app a zero if I could. It’s cumbersome to use to much toggling around. Calendar is just plain hideous. Cant see any info in the app. Having to scroll down a long list to find the day and see info is a big pain. Forget about using if your in a area without cell/data. Cant get any info. Still have to use paper since you can’t see info like outlook. Using this for scheduling is a massive mistake if your in a rural area. Forget customer service. They have none. One more thing, the app often doesn’t open or freezes. Fusions alway say your phone isn’t up to date. That’s not true. My phone /iPad update as soon as available. That’s just their excuse for a poor product.

Really good, but definite room for improvement.
The whole Service Fusion desktop program and mobile app are great, overall. But I’m in a position where I need many of the desktop browser features, while on the road, and it’s just not made for this. There is no Mobile Browser usability to speak of, and the app features are so restricted (even with full permissions) that it’s literally only suitable for the technician to get the job at hand done. Any feature requests or general bug reporting can only be submitted from the desktop browser, making it impossible for the field technician to submit them with an accurate description. For the stereotypical service manager chained to the office, and mindless worker-bee field techs, this is golden. But things can definitely be improved for more adaptability.

Not user friendly
This review is coming from a technician’s point of view using the app for close to a year now. My first gripe with the app is how much it lags when trying to change your status of the service call. Even with full coverage and nothing interrupting my signal, it takes forever to load each page or to change status of my service call. Another is that there isn’t an option for push notifications so if anything changes or another job it’s added then I’m let unaware until my boss lets me know or I refresh the jobs page. The navigation is touch and go when it comes to trying to find out where to go for my next call. Overall this app could use a lot of work and has a lot of good qualities but as someone that uses it everyday, it can be incredibly frustrating to work with.

Frustrated lately
UPDATE: immediately after writing this review there was an update for this problem. I had updated yesterday, but a new update became available since yesterday to correct the problem with opening the app. I will adjust my stars after testing out the new version for a day or two. Since updating a few months ago it has become really glitchy and often take several minutes to open, sometimes opens without the screen options so it’s useless, and this can be a huge problem when you’re on a tight schedule or trying to reach a client. One thing I’d really like to see in an update really soon from this app would be a calendar sync with iCalendar

Initializing card reader
I’ve been extremely patient with this bug. Every time we try to collect payment using the app “can’t initialize card reader” pops up. Multiple times on every invoice. It’s been happening way too long. What, a year I think. Also the time it takes to load pictures is ridiculous. Fix those two things and the SF app gets 4 stars. Make customer info easier to access and enlarge the font you’ll get 5 stars. Take the time to fix what’s broke before adding new features. To me it’s more important that what we have works correctly. The new stuff can come after you fix the current stuff.

Very frustrating app to use Works ok only with great cell signal which is not a reality at different job sites Without GREAT cell service over 4 bars GOOD-LUCK trying to figure out where your next call is I have to drive around for miles till I get a great 5G signal for service fusion to connect Half the time need to drive to the nearest Mcdonalds for wifi just to upload photos into service fusion And its not a phone issue all my other apps work great and even upgraded to a 5G brand new phone hoping that would help. Same issue even with upgraded phone. And same problem across the whole company with all our field technicians

Excellent product & organization
Been using SF for 2 years now dispatching movers all around Portland and keeping track of finances and other important data to help my moving company grow. My life is so much easier managing a fast growing business on the fly. Another plus is that Service Fusion is always trying to advance and implement new features to stay up with the times while also fixing obvious little bugs here and there in their software. Great product and great support!

This software saves me tons of back office time. It’s the complete package for contractors from scheduling, invoicing, keeping track of your customers and their service history. You can send estimates out of it too that are highly customizable, keep track of unpaid invoices. It even has a worker app at no extra charge. You can add as many workers as you crew grows and the price doesn’t change. Truly amazed by the product the ServiceFusion has put together.

Plumbing Company
I own and run a Plumbing company that runs an average 25 calls a day. Being efficient and collecting data, is one of our most important steps to diagnosing a plumbing problem. This software allows us to report data to our dispatch program in seconds. It doesn’t get any more efficient than that. thank you Service Fusion, Lee

Fix maps!!
This app would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the newest update. Every time I select on the address for my work order it opens up Apple maps and the directions don’t automatically tell you were to go... you have to constantly swipe to see where to turn next and it makes it extremely inconvenient and unsafe. We should also be able to choose our maps (google or Apple) like the previous version but that was taken away. Please fix this!! The directions should be automatic not having to swipe every time you turn or have to go for our safety!

Scam sales team! Do not go with them
We we’re scammed by Service Fusion sales agent, who used misleading aggressive sales technique and pushed us into purchasing the software for $219/month without allowing even 1 trial day (opposed to their apps that offer 7-14 day trial time). After we bought this program it appeared it can only be operated through PC, mobile app is extremely poor in functionality! After we’ve asked to reimburse and filed a service request 3 weeks ago, we’re till now left ignored by all Service Fusion office. Do not buy a software that was created in the 90s and similarly operates!

App is pretty bad
I certainly wish that service fusion in general would be better, but this app is next to useless. For what we pay there should be massive enhancements to everything but especially the app. I haven’t noticed a single upgrade in the multiple years we’ve had this program except the price. It’s just barely more than an app just to say you have an app as part of your software.

Very slow to load pictures
The app would be much better if it didn't take so long to load the pictures. The company really needs to find better servers to use. I have issues even when my phone has w data connection over 50mbps. This adds an hour or more onto my day everyday just waiting for pictures to upload so I can move onto the next job.

Needs improvement
I’m reading the reviews, I wonder if “you” are? Because my issues with the desktop, and technician, are the same problems I'm having. Start reading, and get fixing. If it takes more than a month to issue a resolution for a bug, then you’re really not worth our time.

Best app on the market for service and repairs. I’ve tried over twenty of them and this beats them by a mile. Not only that but I’ve yet to see it glitch , mess up, or force close even one time . If I could give six starts I would 👍🏼

Poor usability
App does not work well. Will not work if you have no service, no off-line mode. Barely works if you have bad service. Will only let you post 15 pictures at a time and takes forever for a them to load, it won’t load them in the background so you have to sit there and wait. Recently, it won’t let me post pictures at all. This app is slow and poorly built.

Terrible App
My work just went to this app and it’s terrible. With the old system we used we had all sorts of access to our work information not only our phones, but also directly online through a computer. With this app there’s no way to access information other than using the app. There’s no online alternative. For that reason it’s trash and very in efficient and unproductive. Definitely slows down the work process.

Another update that makes it useless
Latest update killed all the ways to send the finished job in. Kept signing me out until I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Do you people not check to make sure it works before sending it out in the App Store. This is a paid service that they screw up with most updates and takes them three times to fix.

Needs an offline mode that syncs when online
This app needs an offline mode so techs in areas with no cell service can still make notes and upload data. Then when their phone gets online, it will automatically upload the notes. Other than that, the app works well.

Desktop Great/App Horrible
Half these reviews are reviewing service fusion company not the actual app. The app’s development is a 2 out of 10. Buggy, very limited data, functionality, not customizable, and not great for being in the field, you know (the main reason for needing the app). Almost NO updating of it. They absolutely do not care about the coding of this app. Only the desktop coding.

Map location wrong
Just started using service and Maps are not showing correct location. Off by 1/4 mile when looking at “Team” location. If you open directions from a WO, it says location can not be found. If you select the map from customer detail page, there is no button to get directions.

Slow app, have patience.
The app loads pretty slowly overall. Wish they would allow the user to upload all the photos they want at once. They only allow you to choose 15 at a time to upload, so you gotta go back into your photos and find where you left off to keep uploading. It’s a real tedious process.

Why??
I just don’t under why I have to manually add up my hours. It would be nice to be able to see how many hours I’ve worked in a week as a running total or even a daily total hour would be a basic quality of life update.

NOT USER FRIENDLY
Talk to text does not work on iPhone after last update. Very finicky. Very difficult to find and search for jobs. Incorrect jobs/ status gets clicked on. Jobs end up in wrong location. I have to use this app every day and want to rip my hair out. Wish zero stars was an option.

EXTREMELY FINICKY
This app it's dumb as hell. It's super buggy and finicky. It does stuff on its own like clicking on jobs while your scrolling. (which is annoying af) sometimes things don't save. Sometimes jobs still say dispatched even tho they have been completed on app. It's not accurate. Point blank.

Keeps Freezing!

Good Platfom

Service Letdown
This software was at the top of its game when we signed on 6 years ago. But after 2020 things have changed drastically… and not for the better. First off… no platform is perfect, however there should be a constant drive to improve any product based off your user demand. This is where SF has fallen short. What little changes they have made in the past year have had no relevance to the overall user requests. We have a “maintenance agreement module” which was released, knowing it doesnt function properly… even their tech support is clueless how to use it. The module was promised to be released in 2 phases… the second of which never happened and that was well over a year ago. The gps tracking is horrific. I have been over billed a total $1200 for gps units we don’t even use…. And they are still charging me monthly for them on top of one of my gps units has not reported in well over 4 months, 4 phone calls to tech support and still not resolved… btw still being charged for it. The mobile app lacks basic important features… such as offering options or financing to your customers. The Back Button in the app hasn’t worked for 3 months. Basic functions in the app are just not there.. such as being able to add non billable inventoried items to a work order. Good luck trying to itemize your invoice in the field on the mobile app… there’s no button for that. Don’t bother trying to pick your customers custom service rate you want them to have on the invoice your building from the admin…..nope you can only do that from the mobile app. The list goes on…. In short… I would explore a platform that is still looking to improve for its client base.

I do not recommend this app.
I have been a field tech/tradesman for over 12years and have used a lot of different platforms. Service Fusion has been the most frustrating app I have ever used in my time. The app feels like a beta/test version and is missing some pretty basic tools, a “home” button being the top one. I have to close the app and reopen it in order to get back to the home page, hitting the back button 5x takes way longer. The app refreshes every page you navigate to which is very difficult to work with when working in an area with weak cell service. I have to navigate to multiple pages in order to get basic information on a client. Why can I not click on a job/appointment and see the client name, phone number, and address on the same page. Photographs will at times not load all the way(fuzzy/half the photo) or sometimes not at all. We have over 16 electricians using this app and they all have the same issue, I also have multiple devices with same issues. This is not a hardware problem. When we spoke to the company about these issues and explained their app is in dire need of revamping, they told us they do not have any plans to update the application. The website HTML version does have some useful tools but again, had some pretty weak flaws. The drop down menu will repeatedly come down if you don’t move your mouse cursor in the right direction. I’ve lost multiple hours when going to save an estimate and the server crashes which results in the work I just finished not being saved. If you click anywhere to the side while filling in certain information it will erase it. I highly advise looking into other services before you invest time and man hours into setting this app up.

I have asked for more new features I bet than any other customer and they have quickly implemented as many as they could and I know they are working on the rest!
