This is a complete sham especially knowing their will let someone drink alcohol and blow in this object vs not shutting the vehicle down it passes when you drink Vodka I know first hand from bing right they’re when it happened. I know I had one from draeger and it most definitely will shut the vehicle down when alcohols is blown in it when driving. It’s truly sad this happens especially knowing in their web sight smart start clames to be the number one alcohol monitoring device. Knowing what a reputation means (Yes I know it’s prob not spelled all right and punctuated correct) but it dose not change the fact of what happened and posting this review on iTunes and it means something I feel bad for people who have been under the impression of this crap company
Device works as it should every time with no issues. The app works as it should every time with no issues. What’s up with all of these 1 star reviews? Smart Start is the best company out of every ignition interlock device. I think that people are still drinking alcohol which is why they keep receiving false readings. You’re not supposed to consume and alcohol for the duration of your sentence. It’s printed right in your court ordered paperwork. Don’t drink and the device will work correctly every single time.
I had the wires checked and cord changed and still restarts when you move it after blowing and you have to wait again to turn on again! Now i had modular changed because it was bad and took 2 hrs to calibrate it because pictures were never downloaded for months! To make things worse the next morning Nothing! I had to have it towed and lost a days pay of work because no ride and now tow charge and program calling me thinking i did something to it..🤬🤬 no rainbow
This doesn’t work!! It won’t accept your information and then it goes back to the beginning and you enter your information and it duplicates the same incomplete information!! Customer service is terrible! On hold for hours! Then when you get a hold of the customer service they cannot help or they hang up on you and you have to call back and wait for 2 hours again for them to not be able to fix your problems!! WHY IS THIS APP SO TERRIBLY BAD! THE COMPANY NEEDS TO FIX THIS BECAUSE WE ARE STUCK USING IT AND HAVE NO CHOICES TO CHANGE COMPANIES!!!!!
This app really makes a lot easier to view information as well as my payments. With the option of history payments and notifications being sent to my phone, I will never miss a payment or forget my monthly calibration date.
I back this 1000% percent it’s a scam there’s always extra fees or the machine stops working by it’s self and locks you out or that machine kills your battery and they lock you out I even passed blew again failed blew again and passed all in 10 minutes worst customer service ever not once have I ever got help and I’ve never been on hold for less than 2 hours
Worst app and very bad company… look elsewhere for your breathalyzer company!!!
This app is CONSTANTLY getting appointments wrong. (dates and times) Also the costumer service to resolve these issues is non existent. You will be charged fees for smart start errors with no way to get your money back. This is a company which preys on people who have made mistakes.. I would never recommend this app or company to anyone ever

If you enjoy waiting on hold 3 separate times to talk to no one for over 3 hours and then finally get a person on the phone and they don’t know what to do so they transfer you to “administrators” which is really just another person that doesn’t know anything then this is the company for you.
Constantly not starting my vehicle even though I don’t drink or mess with my Interlock device only use it to drive to work and back and my dui classes. The smart start workers are no help. I’m not going to pay for a tow truck to get my car there if I can’t even afford it with all these dui payments. Bad service and no help
I have tried multiple times to connect my account. Got nothing out of it. Will not connect to my account, can use any functionality except to look at my own picture and setup pre-install accounts, not helpful when the device is already installed.
Password reset doesn’t work and I tried to call their customer service and they hung up on me. If only they had competition to run them out of business.
All the information I would want to receive, such as how much time I have left with device or reports after calibration. Not only is it unavailable on the portal, it’s not accessible viable telephone either.
App updated and crashes, can’t login the website portal either. Customer service is lacking, and when the app did work it wasn’t informative by any means.
Very bad customer service, most shops don’t care about you. You WILL keep jumping though legal loop holes with these guys. App keeps crashing and not user friendly.
This company is an absolute scam. They make up fees and charges and turn your car off if you don’t pay them. They are nothing but common highway robbers and should honestly be in jail.
They appear to be always available and able to help, it’s all a front. If you have any issues the people on the phone can’t do anything. They always refer you to the shop, who pretty much can’t do anything. Or they ask to submit an incident report that is a one sided interaction.They do a terrible job on the up front training and explaining of how it works. If you have an issue there’s no incentive for them to correct it because why would they want to refund money. This app is only good for taking your money!
I would not recommend the breath check portal. Horrible product. Doesn’t work constantly having trouble.will not let me complete a blow test. Worst device ever. Would not recommend!!!!!!
Created an account and been trying to simply log in for a while month. All it ever does is refresh on the login screen when I hit login and and it asks for my username and password again with no error code or explanation. Straight up garbage
This app has made it so much easier to review my account, make payments, see my monthly balance, and definitely helps out with quicker service if I need a code or anything else. It’s nice to be able to make payments this way then calling, and waiting. So thank you for this. We appreciate this app!!
