Great Utility

Had Robo Call at one time and was not really impressed; a message would play on unknown calls and they were somewhat crass. One business contact had to be apologized to after being told by them that the response played seemed very unprofessional. I like how Real Call just takes care of business and it has AI discernment as to what is spam, fraud, etc. Just subscribed so I am hoping for a good fit.

STOPPED SCAMMERS IN THEIR TRACKS!

I LITERALLY Was getting a call every 15 minutes from a scammer trying to get my Medicare information, true story, and it was driving me crazy… This app has completely shut them down! I'm not sure exactly how it works. I suspect it in real time detects a call from a spoofed phone number all I know is I get a dozen "silenced calls" in my recent call folder, and I let the app take care of them $10 a month is a small price to pay for peace of mind. If I could give it 10 stars I would. UPDATE!! After further review. Disregard everything I wrote above. Yes they block all calls.... even from your CONTACTS! when a voicemail is left it is left on RealCall servers rather than your own mailbox and when you try to retrieve it, you cannot hear it! The technical support is absolutely HORRID! It took four emails and five days to even get a response and they do not answer their technical support phone number OMG NOW I'M HAVING A PROBLEM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT how to get this off MY PHONE DO NOT DOWNLOAD this app is a nightmare 👻☠️💀👻

Best app I’ve ever downloaded !

OMG! If you know how the internet works, you know whenever you enter our phone number to make a purchase, sign up for a newsletter or anything, most sell our data for marketing. We are being marketed to almost 24/7. Over the past months I am receiving )no exaggeration) between 9-17 marketing calls a day and 3-7 marketing texts. All hours of the day and evening, 7 days a week! Auto dialers have no shame! I found this app researching how to make it stop. OMGGGGGG my phone doesn’t ring anymore and I know it’s legit because no one leaves messages !! Time is all we have in our life. Let’s clear the clutter and get in control so we can block out the noise to focus on what’s important to us and achieve our goals! If you think like I do, this is well worth the investment. You really can’t believe it !!! I wish I could download a screen shot of all the missed red calls on my phone. All thanks to this app!

Great app

This is one of the best scam call & spam text blocking apps I’ve used in years. I want to sign up for paid version but scared the quality will diminish and cost will be too much to pay for because already struggling with bills so will continue to use the free version until I’m able to afford the paid version. I was surprised to find a free iPhone version usually everything iPhone you gotta pay and pay high cost. I highly recommend this app if you get spam robocalls and suspicious text from unknown senders. I usually do not answer unknown calls but this app reveals the identity and allows me to chose whether to answer or decline the call or text. I really think the government should better protection for citizens because millions of people get scammed everyday because of all these scammers using spoofed numbers pretending to be from official companies.

*Update - iPhone 12 Pro Max Works Perfectly Now.

When I first installed and tried this app it did not function correctly. However with the flood of spam calls I receive daily, many from China, I installed it again to see if anything had changed with my phone. I followed the installation directions, and it now works perfectly. Not sure if the updates from iPhone or the app itself made a difference, but every feature of this program works like it should. I am very happy with the functionality of this app, and have had 3 quiet days of no spam calls already, and I expect this to continue. Telemarketers, spam and scam calls are totally out of control and such an invasion of privacy. This app will help combat that invasion of your privacy. Thank you.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for blocking me from certain people calling as I was literally getting about 15 harassing calls every day and I don’t believe they were genuine or any businesses I’m trying to figure out after my Traumatic Brain Injury which I survived in Texas almost 7 years ago after drinking a dangerous amount after being sober 7 years and suddenly drinking and falling down 20 feet of big steep rocks near my home in Allen, Texas where I pretty much almost died and then lost my kids after surviving the accident and a whole lot more honestly. Too protective

Since getting this the spam calls have completely stopped but so has everything else. No one is able to reach me outside of my contacts. I was hospitalized a few days ago and doctors’ offices haven’t been able to reach me. One office tried calling 8 times and still couldn’t leave a voicemail. They can’t even get through the system to leave me a voicemail (even after manually selecting an option that they are a real caller). I also have been unable to receive calls from independent contractors who are trying to help me around my phone. Either I reach them the first time or they can’t reach me when they call. Of course all of this started happening after the free trial started and I paid for a full year. I am also still getting several spam texts a day from 5 digit numbers.

All or nothing app

Like the title says it takes an all or nothing approach so either you send every call that’s not in your contacts to an auto attendant/screening service or you allow them all to come in. Because spam callers spoof different numbers, I understand the challenge but if it’s marked “most likely spam” why not send that to a screening service, it makes sense but the app doesn’t do that, it either tells you and let’s the call go through or you block everyone from calling. Again it’s all or nothing. My phone tells me it’s spam likely for free I don’t need to pay you $8 a month to do the same thing. It’s pointless, 7 day free trial 3 days in ive received 6 calls today and it’s 1pm…. It doesn’t work, do not purchase. Lastly, it’s weird but it seems as my calls have increased since giving my info to this app. I’m going to just change my number. 0/5 pointless.

UPDATED REVIEW: this app promises not to block important calls but it DOES! Blocks important calls from my phone contact (EMPLOYER) and sends to RealCall voicemail box. So I miss calls from work and don’t get the voicemail. Really???? My orig review was not good, now sorry it’s even worst. ——— ORIG REVIEW So I downloaded this and set it up as instructed and within 10 minutes got another political text. Then strangely within another 10 mins got a call from Washington DC. I wasn’t having a problem with calls, it was the texts. The DC caller left no message. Weird. I don’t get calls from DC. I already don’t trust RealCall!!! Not only that the app interface is totally annoying. This app is a MESS. And it’s bugging out telling me there is a network connection issue. There is not. Cancelled this first day. IT does nothing really that is not already built in to your phone’s features.

I have only had this for 2 days. I was so done with my previous company supposedly covering my bogus calls. I was texting 20-25 calls/day. So far I am so thrilled with RealCall. They have stopped numerous calls already! I tried so hard to stay with the other company because I had them for several years. I just ran out of patience with them allowing “Trust Fund” calls through. I started to feel that I was working for them reporting bogus calls. This RealCall company jumped right in and calls were blocked without my input. I can’t believe how great they are. I finally have some peace!! Give it a try! OUTSTANDING!!!

Deleted app

After paying for a full year to save, and a month of using, I discovered I was missing many calls from existing and potential customers because they were using their office line. Deleted and cancelled renewal 11 months from now. Thank you for helping me spend almost $60 to discover the app and service cost me thousands in opportunity. I’ll just ignore the real calls that end up being spam. I do not recommend, unless you are the type of person that has every possible phone number your customer may choose to call from. Well, the 24/7 customer service chat is usually unavailable each time I tried to message. My apologies if I wanted to always communicate outside our the posted 24/7 availability. I always thought my days were 30+ hours long anyway. 👍

This app is awesome.

I enjoy having this app answering my unwanted phone calls. Those phone calls take up way too much time and energy for me to even respond to those people. I just wish we had this app on those ancient dinosaurs phones we used to have. But those phones were only able to make phone calls and that was it. Then they came out with the analog phone. Which was perfect for some people. It meant that the government couldn’t trace you or your call. I’m am really enjoying this app. I love it and think it’s really awesome. I will definitely be keeping it for a while.

Useless for me

I was getting about 4-5 spam calls a day. Now, I get about 3-4. It definitely blocks some, but not nearly enough. And it inconveniences people who actually know you but you don’t have their phone number saved. My customers have to jump through hoops to get ahold of me, while spam gets right through 80% of the time. So honestly, it’s hindering me more than it’s helping me. Also, they block spam texts. Which they have about 70% success rate for me. They have a “keywords to block” section and I wrote every single word under the sun associated to insurance in there and then I get texts like “hey Alex, we wanna talk about health insurance deductibles plus dental vision region plan doctor medical” like, I’ll get every single word I’ve “blocked” in a single text somehow. So again, kind of worthless to me after paying $60

Torn

Well it did help with spam calls but it also blocked a lot of my real calls and didn’t let them leave a voicemail. I finally turned it off cause it was causing too many issues with calls and I turned on the “not until I turn it back on” feature but it still turns it back on! Even though it warns you you’ll have to manually turn it back on. So I feel like it’s off until you get a call then it magically turns itself back on. I don’t know… it helped for the original download of needing to get spam calls to stop but now it’s too much of an issue. 3 stars is kind of iffy for me since it blocks calls I actually need and prevents voicemails

Zero stars for customer service or support

Love not getting spam, but it also blocks new customers that I don’t have saved in contacts. So Frustrating! Their customer service is nonexistent!!! And the glitches in trying to get help just loop you back to where you enter your number again. Everytime I loose cell range while driving, I have to end up deleting my app and re download it, but still have quite the problems to get it working again. No partial refund either… I should have never signed up for this app!!!! SMH I have tried to report my issue, bur the app won’t let me … keeps giving me a message that I need to enter my email first and when I do (there is no designated place to enter the email on my iPhone SE), it just loops me back to the message board.

Skeptical at first- great app

I was skeptical the app would block important calls and texts. I was wrong. I worked with it the first week and after that it’s a fast learner. It is a pleasure to not have to keep my phone on silent all the time. It blocks the scammers and all my calls and texts come through. I only wish it would block them on my MacBook which is connected to my phone. I’ll do some research and see if that’s an option. Overall, app does what it says it will and worth the small fee I paid for it. Thank you 🙏

Literally, a mental health lifesaver

I own my own aesthetics business, as well as I teach yoga. It is important for me to be able to stay in touch with my clients as well as my healthcare providers as I am chronically ill but this also leads to me having incessant phone calls that I waste time on. Bec I was literally losing my mind, and, starting to waste a lot of stress on said calls that didn't need to go through. If you are receiving too many Robo calls or too many spam calls. This is worth your money, especially if you own your own business.

Do more with the fight back

I am using this app because I wanted revenge on robocallers as they do not remove my number from their calling list and keep calling me even after they hang up. I like how the app is good at detecting calls that are spam and blocking them. However, I feel that the callers behind the calls are not getting enough of what they deserve as the answer bots are barely saying anything. The robocallers hang up instantly when they don’t hear voices, and then they call back again at a random time spoofing a different caller id. The fight back features need some improvement so that they can finally waste scammer time.

Let me introduce you to a app called RealCall it’s a app that intercepts your call making it to where I’m not disturbed by it and will be upgrading to the yearly plan next month so it can continue doing just that I got scammed recently hence me downloading this app I thought I knew my scams so saw no need for apps like RealCall until now so to those who read this I plead with you as a scam victim myself download this app it will save you time and money in the long run I take paying $59 for a app that blocks unwanted calls vs loosing $800+ to a scammer

Essential for me.

I’ve been having this guy from India call me out of spite 5-6 times a day, always from a different number, so I could never block him. After I got this app, I no longer get scam calls, which is essential for me since I recently started my business and I rely on my actual genuine phone calls for new clients. I honestly didn’t think this app would work, but it actually does a great job at blocking scammers. I don’t leave reviews often, this app is worth it.

Doesn’t actually work

After using the premium version, I quickly realize that all the app does is actually nothing. It just tells you to turn on block unknown callers. Unfortunately, even with that being done I still get a ton of spam calls and the app will say that I blocked the calls, but I can look on my recent calls and prove that the calls were not actually blocked. As somebody who gets over 25 spam calls a day, I can assure you that this is not the way to go and I appreciate that they have a three day trial because it does not work. In the past two hours I have had over 10 spam calls go through to my phone. I wish I could attach a picture of the calls

Worth it !

The past two weeks I have suddenly seen a large increase of spam calls. I was receiving 20+ calls a day and wanted to quit carrying my phone because I was so aggravated. I can see on my screen they are calling with a quick notification but my phone does not ring. I love it! I also love the part where you can select a message sounding like the spammers have called a police department 😂 money well spent in my opinion and I have only had it three days!

Hate it!

I absolutely hate this app and I am even more angry that I didn’t delete it before the trial was up. I have appointments and other calls from businesses, as well as important things for work and even if I see the call and try to answer, the app takes over and silences it, or makes you dial the number back when you click on it. Now after deleting it, my calls are still being silenced without the app and I can’t figure out how to turn it off! I would rather deal with ignoring robo calls (which come from the same type of number) than to continuously miss important calls. Worst decision ever to install this. Tips on how to get it off my phone would be great!

My experience

I was going to download RoboKiller to block my calls because I used them before and they’re pretty good and then I saw this real call and I have an iPhone so I figured I would check it out with a free week trial but I am still getting most of my fraud calls scam calls all the hangups they’ve only blocked about 20% of what comes through and I am about three weeks into my subscription. I don’t think I’m gonna stay with them because I keep getting all these calls and I have to what’s the point and paying $10 a month if I have to do it myself also?

Protection

I love the way that the app help me to get to where I needed to. To stop all the spam and unwanted phone calls. And 74 years old and I found this very easy to do the prompt that was on the screen was wonderful very helpful a little small, but it can’t repeating itself, which is great until I had completely finished what I needed to do to block and One calls and messages. Thank you again. It was wonderful experience.

ADIOS, SPAM CALLS

I was getting-no joke-30 plus spam calls per day. They were always for one of three things: my unused travel points (insert eye roll) my Medicare benefits (I am in my 40s) or my car warranty (I lease) However, because I am in sales & use my phone for work, I was obligated to answer them (at least the ones that didn’t come up, “Potential Spam”) because you never know, right? The last 3 days have been spam free and I love this product/service.

The only one that seems to work.

I had to try three other services before I found this one. This is the only one that actually works that I can find. Yes, it does cost but it’s worth not getting all of the junk calls that I was getting. I was getting around 30 a day. It seemed to slow the calls down and also blocks the ones that still get through. Highly suggest if you’re looking for a good filter.

Excellent app

Just got the app and it blocked one robocall so far. I’m going to definitely keep it after the trial period. For the price it’s a great deal Update-after the seven day trial period I’m definitely purchasing the app and would advise anyone else reading this review to please educate yourself on how to use this app and purchase it, so far I’ve not received any spam or unnecessary calls. It’s easy to setup and considering the cost of other apps this is a great price!

RealCall is a lifesaver

I’m just so thankful for RealCall!! I was getting almost 8-9 robo calls a day and now I’m not getting any!! I’m so so grateful for this service!! I love it so much!! I can’t believe how fast it worked, too!! I think the voicemail selector is one of the best parts about RealCall!! You just have to get this app and download it, if you have any trouble with spam calls or robo calls! It’s a must have, truly!!! If I could give more stars, I would in a heartbeat!!!

Stopped working after 2 months

It worked in the beginning (kind of) to where I wasn’t getting blown up with spam calls. I constantly got notifications saying I needed to set up sms blocking and other things which is why I said kind of. It became more of a headache maintaining the app than the actual spam calls. After 2 months I’m still getting notifications and now I’m getting spam calls again. I tried to report the issue but there’s a prompt to “input email” even though there’s no place to put it. Not worth the 60 dollars in my opinion even if it’s annual.

Already loving it

I rarely want to talk to any company who is trying to reach me using an autodialer. It’s rude: it dials you automatically, waits for you to talk, and only then tries to find someone who is ready to talk to you. If nobody is ready within a second or two, it drops the call. They’re used extensively by political phone banks, high overhead charities, etc. Do not want. This app blocks them! What a productive day I’ve had already. A must-have app!

Voicemail hard to find! No customer service.

The app blocks most spam but it’s hard to get to your voicemail. It doesn’t alert you when you have a voicemail. You have to open the app, click recents and then voicemail. The volume on the voicemail is very low and hard to hear. Also I’ve tried multiple times to use “contact us”. Each time I try to send a message it says “write your email first”. First of all, that is just weird. Why not have a field? And it won’t send the message even when I write the email first.

It’s great!

The robo voicemail bot is awesome and funny when there are spam/scammer calls! The scammers calling are a bit creepy and very annoying to get rid of, so RealCall makes me feel more secure and safe due to handling them for me and having me not interact with them. I really appreciate that aspect of it. I do wish there were more straightforward options that would directly address the scammers and tell them to stop though 😂🙌. Nice app!!

This app was a Standart!

First of all, this app link comes under the name of “Apple” when you search on google! Which means it seems like Apple made this app! And this unknown number blocking option was a Standart option in iPhones settings! I was able to do that for free! Because it was a phone setting option! And now apple removed that option from phones and selling it with money in AppStore! The only option you can use on the phone is to “silent” the scam calls! They can still call you! But you just don’t hear them! What’s next apple? Are you gonna sell camera option with money too??? Greedy…

Instant calls fixed

I must say that after getting RealCall, I am not getting 20 to 30 calls a spammed or messages. This has been amazing. I had a trial on this, but I must say after this trial I will keep it because it literally has helped me not get any spam calls which nonstop I’m so glad that Apple had this that I could order and it’s been the best. I love it and I’m so happy I got it.

Free at last.

I have been complaining for ever about unwanted calls. This app is theist wonderful and time saving app ever. If anyone makes more than ten dollars an hour this app will pay for itself. I wish I could send every call, contact or not through the screening process. I would gladly wait a minute for a call. Thanks to the people who made an app that allows me peace of mind.

Works wonderfully!

I assume one day I must have accidentally answered a robo-call. Those ppl must have sold my number to every scam and spam contact center in existence because I was getting bombarded with calls between 9am to 5pm every day of the week! I went ahead and used the 7 day free trial to check out how it works and I’m more than satisfied. I would definitely recommend.

Blocking too many legitimate non spam calls

The app is blocking far too many legitimate business / doctor calls. It’s working great on the spam however. We all have calls from unknown numbers that are legitimate and not in our contacts as sometimes doctors or legitimate businesses call from a variety of phones. The app caused me to miss two very important calls in just two days. The app help and support feature to contact the developer also does T work. There is no field to enter my email address but an error keeps popping to enter my email address so it’s stuck in a loop.

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS!

I get annoying spam calls maybe once a day so I thought it might be worth it to get this service. I bought the annual package set everything up and within an hour I've received three spam calls. They were silent so it didn’t ring but the app lets you know when they block calls. Three in the last hour!! Come on, this company obviously takes your number and more than likely is routing spam calls to you, to make it seem like they’re blocking a lot of calls when in reality they’re the ones responsible for your excessive spam calls now.

Tired of the repeated scam calls

I was getting repeating scam calls everyday normally I would go to block them without this app. I was getting sick of these people always answering my phone and hanging up or cussing them out. I no longer have to worry about my phone ringing every 10 min with RealCall. All scam calls have stopped and grateful for the peace and silence. Thank you

Garbage

This app is garbage, didn’t block all robo calls maybe half at best and people couldn’t call me. I later uninstalled the app because people I knew said they tried calling me and it would sounded like someone was answering and hanging up or people just wouldn’t get sent to voicemail at all it simply just hung up when trying to call my number. After uninstalling I’m still having issues where it doesn’t send people to VM and does sound like is someone is still just hanging up. I’ve tried calling myself multiple times and have witnessed it myself. Terrible app don’t download.

Relief Finally!

I had been at my wits end with multiple calls every day from Healthcare Marketplace after submitting an inquiry about plans. Marketers would call several times a day from different numbers and places so no matter how many times I would block a number it didn't matter. I gave RealCall a chance and it has been FANTASTIC!

Complete waste of your money

This app is horribly, un-user-friendly. There is no way to add someone that the app blocked to a safe list through their app. There are toggle switches for different options that show that they are already off and when you try to toggle them on or off they just jump right back to the off position, but they still keep those calls from coming to you. It basically takes over every call you you can’t get it and it will show that you have voicemails. That will not play. Absolutely horrible horrible app.

It’s still a bit early for me to have an opinion about the service but one thing I will say is that it was extremely easy to follow the directions for the initial set up so I’m looking forward to being able to do a second review of the quality of the service.

Calls coming from ‘no caller I’d’ and spoof numbers

I have an ex blocked on everything. He uses an app that calls non-stop from a ‘no caller id’ number. He also uses a spoof app that allows him to call from fake phone numbers. This app blocks all of these numbers from coming through. It works amazing!!!!!!!! Worth every penny! Thank you!

What an insanely easy set up, with a 7-day free trial. There’s a couple things you need to change in your settings and this app makes it a breeze as it plays a video automatically for you, showing exactly what to do. I’m excited to try this app it seems very promising!

It’s A SCAM!!

I De-Activated It WAY Before Dead-Line Of Seven Days But They Still STOLE My $59!!! It Doesn’t Work & I Was Doing All Of The Work! I Couldn’t Get Important Phone calls because all my calls were going to their voicemail and they didn’t let me know about it. There was nothing whatsoever that will let me know when I was getting a call sent to their voicemail and a lot of other issues that come along with this bamboozling scamming app!!! I canceled after three days of use and I still got charged $59. They should be ashamed of their cells taking advantage of a disabled 60-year-old grandmother!!!!

Cancelled - doesn’t work

I had hi hopes for this one but it’s the same as the others. I set up everything it told me to and unknown spam calls were still ringing through and interrupting me. Tried to submit a support request and that doesn’t work at all. Lots of little glitches, bugs and overall “weirdness” with the app. Not intuitive. You can’t submit a support request because an error message pops up saying “please provide email address” but there is no field to enter you email address anywhere. So you can’t submit a support ticket.

Doesn’t do anything that you can’t for free

This app tells you to silence unknown callers and turn off voicemail so they still call you from every random number possible but your phone doesn’t ring. Again, these are steps you can do yourself, all the app does is tell you it “blocked” a spam call when in reality your phone settings did just that. I still get 15+ calls a day and they all still crowd up my recent phone calls that I have to block and delete myself. This app is as much a scam as the people calling you
