First of all, great employees. I’m always greeted by Valerie when I walk in the laundromat. She offers help with all laundry needs myself or anyone else needs. I was running late one day to get my clothes out of the dryer (I had left the location to grab some groceries really fast) and she had added some of her own quarters to keep the dryer going for me. The laundromat itself is SO clean and organized. Detergent/Dry sheets/bags vending at the door, clean restrooms, clean tables, tv on with remote always near by, ATM incase you need to get some cash out, plenty of parking, etc. I’ve never been a laundromat girl but I honestly love coming by this location when my laundry needs exceed my time and energy at home. 10/10

Refunds and Loading Money
This app works very well, however I now have an issue regarding how the app handles loading money onto your account. The minimum amount of money that you can upload onto your town at a given time is $10. However, in the past there have been several instances where I was not charged the usual $1.25 and the amount that was charged was not a multiple of $.25. It seems this has since been fixed and if you add time to drying machines, it is only in increments of &.25. So automatically, I cannot use all of my loaded funds because you can only upload your money and multiples of five starting from $10. Now, I am trying to get a refund from the company that manages the laundry system at my university, but they have a no refund policy. I think that there should be a way for you to pay per cycle that is used, rather than uploading money to a prepaid account. I know that having to pay each time you use a washing or drying machine would be slightly more inconvenient, but I much rather do that instead of dealing with figuring out the legal gymnastics of getting a refund. I will be telling my peers who live on campus about this so they do not make the same mistake.

Stole $6 from me for a machine nobody even used
Was using this app for the first time and it was fine, I couldn’t make a card or Apple Pay payment due to some glitch, but I had some cash so used the machine at the laundry to add funds. Also was fine when I went to wash my clothes. The problem started when my clothes were nearly done, I go to tend to them and suddenly the app notifies me that another washer was now in use and debited $6 from my funds balance for it. But the machine in question was even running and nobody—including me—was even at it or using it. I contacted support, they said that even though their app took the funds they couldn’t do anything, go to the management of the laundry. The management of the laundry said they don’t control the machines for these transactions, that’s through the app. Since the app is the one that did the transaction, I’m holding the app responsible until otherwise credited for the lost funds. SCAM APP AND PLATFORM JUST MYSTERIOUSLY CAN DEBIT YOU & THEN SHRUGS AND TAKES ZERO RESPONSIBILITY.

Can you please add a “poke” function
Like Facebook poke, where you can notify another user. It will be very useful if the only available dryers/washers still have cloths in them, the next in-line users can “poke” via the app to notify the current users. So they know other people are waiting and will hopefully come take out their cloths. It’s easy to forget, I don’t blame anyone, I sometimes forget too. So I wouldn’t mind waiting a couple minutes. And the “poke” will really help. So if people leave their cloths in for a long time even after some pokes, I’d feel justified to move their clean cloths to a publicly opened counter.

Good luck if you need a refund
I thought this would be a good tool to wash clothes at the laundromat around the corner from my home but good luck if you need a refund. After my first wash I accidentally hit the pay now button again which I didn’t want to do. It’s confusing because it doesn’t go right back to your account screen after a wash is done. This makes it very confusing to you. After going back-and-forth with the app representative they can’t do anything on there and if you need a refund. You would have to contact the owner and nine times out of 10 sometimes the owners are not at the laundromat. I just chucked it up and someone is going to have a free wash on me. In this economy when people are trying to save this app is doing no good if you cannot cancel a wash via the app. Which I find very weird if you can start a wash but can’t cancel a wash via the app. They need to work on this .I’m deleting for now

Steals Your Money From Time to Time
I’ve used this app because I don’t really have any other choice since I live on a college campus and this is the only way to pay for laundry. Every now and then, I receive errors that a payment didn’t go through and that “I wasn’t charged” but when I check my recent transactions, it shows I was still charged for that load and it can happen multiple times in a row. What’s even worse is that whenever I try to click on the support button that is in the app, it says “no email is registered with this account”... but you have to have an email to log in to the app in the first place, so what exactly is it talking about not having an email registered??? It’s been frustrating and I’ve lost a good amount of money due to this issue. It has been an ongoing issue for quite some time now and it’s unfortunate that there hasn’t been a fix about this.

A crappy excuse for an app
Apps are supposed to make our lives easier. More specifically, this apps sole purpose is to make doing laundry faster and easier. My apartment only allows this service, which is not a problem, until it does not work at all. I could ramble on about my experience, but the short end of it is that the app did not work and I ended up having to wait in the laundry room to ask someone to pay for my dryer service while my clothes sat in there soaking wet. Still trying to figure out the problem, but if you were going to take all options away, you better make sure that your app freaking works. This is coming from someone who has a published app on the App Store as well. So, if QA is reading this, you guys have a pretty major problem with the overall UX. Bugs like this shouldn’t be a problem after 2+ years of being live.

Wonderful facility
I have just recently switched from a laundromat I washed at for 10+ years and I have no regrets. There are always dryers available, the staff is extremely helpful, the price is fantastic, and if that was not enough my clothes rarely need more than a 30 minute dry cycle. Not only does this establishment give me more money back in my pocket, it also gives me back more time in my day. Their washers/dryers are so efficient clothes are clean and dry with only having to use one cycle. I will be coming here for many more years to come.

Scam
Went on vacation and had to do laundry but there was no attendant to pay at so I had to use the app. Thought it would be easy since I assumed by adding funds it’d go to the app so I can use it at any location instead the money goes directly to the laundry mat owner and so I’m out money since they have a $10 minimum and wouldn’t let me add just the $4 it would take to do my laundry. I tried talking to an agent about this but they said there is nothing they can do and id have to talk to the owner directly. Keep in mind this was a laundry mat I visited 1000 miles away that I used on vacation. In all honesty just don’t use the app and pay at the location if you can. If you do add funds make sure it is a location you frequent otherwise you will have a bad experience and an even harder time getting your money back.

horrible app
This app lags, logs users out, and takes money without putting it towards their balance. The minimum payment you can make on here is $10 which makes no sense if it only costs $1.50 to wash or dry. 10 isn’t even divisible by 1.50 so they get a profit off of your unused funds because there’s no way to return money to your card or bank account afterwards. I only use this app because my campus requires it but as a college student I can’t afford to drop $10 every time I need to do $3 of laundry. Today it brought me to tears when the app took my last $10 and didn’t even add it to my account. The transaction went through on my bank’s end but my account balance is the same. Can’t do laundry tonight cause of this stupid glitchy app and I’m down $10. Wish I could give it zero stars.

Lack of flexibility
For starters, only being able to add fixed increment amounts of money is bogus since they don’t align with how much a wash/dry combo is. If users are already allowed to charge Apple Pay, why not let us do it for every load? On a more serious note, there should be a way for users to work around the issue of others not emptying their loads from the washer and dryer. Now I’m not an expert, but maybe the option to relentlessly ping other users to move their clothes so that you can make more money from people doing more loads? Or even more simple, allow me to get a notification whenever a new wash/dry opens up so that I can know when to go do/move my load.

I really don’t know…
I use this app for my local laundry mat. It works to get the job done but.. they claim I’ll get “reward points” but I haven’t seen any of those in the past multiple visits I’ve used the app. I also tried to use the help button but every time I went on to it there was no way to send a message. There was no send button. They would ask what I needed help with and I type it out but when I hit return it didn’t work, or when I hit the done button it never sent. I tried sliding around on the page to find a send button but couldn’t find one. This app definitely needs some work on a few things. But other than that I’ve been using this app since this local laundry mat came up next to my house and it’s convenient when I don’t have cash.

It’s very convenient
I love everything about this; saves so much time and trips to the bank to not have to get the exact change, etc. and it makes it easy to get updates on the status of each washer/dryer. My only complaint is that the “washer is one minute minute from being done” is almost always wrong! I get that message when my clothes are between 5-7 minutes from being done, which sometimes means I have to cut short whatever other errand I was doing to come check on my clothes, and well, they’re still several minutes from being ready.

Terrible experience - even worse customer service
Spent over 30 minute standing in front of the laundry machines trying to get the app to work. It kept crashing, and wouldn’t take my payment even after trying multiple different forms of payments. Customer service was terrible - asking me questions about internet connectivity and basic steps even after I explained in detail my situation and what I’ve tried. The steps they suggested led me to get disconnected from them because the app crashed — even after I told multiple reps this would happen. The issue is in poor coding with the app, and a general lack of training for employees. I really hope my laundromat changes services. Waste of time just to save them money in credit card fees. All I wanted to do was my laundry. Ended having to go scrounge for quarters.

Be Wary
This app is great when it works, but as of late, it’s been glitchy. If you’re going to use it, I would keep a laundry card on hand just in case. A week or two ago, it would not connect to any of the machines; they came and reset the connection and it was fine. But now it just took me 3 attempts to start a washer, and it charged me for 2 of those attempts instead of the last one (which worked). Their customer service was good the last time, so I am hoping they can credit my account. I really like being able to see if machines are open before going to the laundry room and the alerts when your wash is done, so I’d recommend trying it out...just don’t throw away your laundry card.

Best Experience
Each time I have visited the laundromat was clean, the staff was professional and the prices of each wash is affordable. They even sale sturdy, long lasting clothes bags that are at an affordable price. I asked thee employee a question and it turns out it was the owner. He was cleaning, restocking the coin machine to make sure our experience was effortless. Hey, my name is Catherine Mathis and I live in this area and I am a real customer!! I give a huge shout out to the staff and the business! Thank you for a great experience!

#1 downfall, can only add $ in $5 increments
The machines this app pairs with are amazing and I love the option for real time availability but it’s so outdated that you can only add five dollar increments. Because of that we have to recommend the out of town customers should not use the app since it is a pain to get any refunds back. You have to call in to customer service. For such up-to-date modern laundry technology this is one glaringly obvious feature that needs to be changed. If the number one complaint you hear from customers and laundromats is that they want to choose the amount of money they add in one dollar increments then fix it. Is it really that hard?? If that changed, this app would be amazing!

Extremely glitchy
This app is great when it works. It hasn't worked for me in about a month. It is easy to use, but it glitches out more often than it works. It needs a serious overhaul if it is going to be useful in the future. It is not connecting to any of the machines. It even kicked me out of my account without me signing out. It's been updated twice in the last month and neither update fixed the issues. If it weren't for its ease of use when it did work properly, I would have deducted a star or two. It has the potential to be a five star app, but it is currently performing like a one star app.

Meh
I have not been able to add a payment option over the past year that I’ve been using this app? I tried two debit cards and one credit card and I get the same error; something about a vault key?? I was able to add money through Apple Pay. Plan on keeping a physical payment card just to be on the safe side. There is absolutely no support for this app! I’ve never connected to a person through “Live Chat”! There is an email support option but I get an error stating there is no email account set up? Being able to tell if a machine is available and being alerted when your laundry is complete are the reasons this app got two stars.

Terrible app, terrible customer support
Honestly, just use quarters because that’s less hassle than trying to use this app. The machines in my unit weren’t connecting so I reached out to customer support. They said they would rescan the machines and it would take 3-5 minutes. I waited 10, but nothing changed. I reached out again and they said it will definitely be done in 10 more minutes. I waited 15, and again, the issue still wasn’t resolved. I reach out once more, only to be told “it will be working again shortly.” I asked how long, if it will be 5 minutes or 30, no response. They don’t know what they’re doing and now I have to use quarters even though my money is loaded in the app. They’re completely incompetent.

Bad Customer Service.
The app works ok, a little glitchy here and there… one big issue is if you load money onto the app at one location you cant use it at a different location!🤦🏾‍♀️… so now I have money on the app that I can only use in Michigan but I just relocated to Tennessee! The customer service person told me I would have to contact the owner of the laundromat in Michigan…(i would think he would be able to access the owner’s info faster than I would) 🤷🏾‍♀️… just one big “run around “! I hope they come up with a better way to access monies loaded on to the app in the future.

Scammers be careful
I’ve used this app before never had a problem but I went to use a machine and the app said error. When I checked the app my money was missing and the machine was still asking for money. I called customer service and someone answer was hard to understand very little English. I let them know my situation they ask for the location just to tell me they can’t refund me my money it has to be the owner of the location. I asked for the owner location number they gave me a non working number. I went to the app and send an email on the customer support non working email either. Worst experience and I got scam with my money at this point I’m going to dispute it with my bank.

Our experience
We go every Sunday to do our laundry and so far our experience has been overall pretty good the facilities inside are kept clean the washers and dryers are easy to operate from our phones the only bad thing so far is when you accidentally put to much time on the dryer which has happened about three times you have no way to get the time refunded or money returned. The staff has always been pleasant.

Seems designed to overcharge you
The app itself does as advertised. However there two major flaws with it. First, the app only takes funds in €10 increments. This means that you will almost always end up with money sitting in your balance because the €2.80 dryer €8 washer isn’t a nice even number. Second is that you balance seems to be tied to a specific location. I used one in Killarney and the €6 I have in my account is not available in Glasgow. That seems calculated to basically overcharge and make money off of account balances that won’t get used. Better to just use the payment kiosk and pay by the load.

Almost Perfrct
This app makes it really convenient to get laundry done. The only thing is that I wish you could find nearby locations that accept the app within the app itself. I have a laundromat nearby that I go to usually, but there are times they’re super busy and I would try another location if I knew I could still use the app. But as it is now you’re bound to that one location unless you just go and find out for yourself.

After update still doesn’t work
I’m a college student, I live on the 3rd floor of my dorm. When I first moved here it worked fine but once it started glitching out it doesn’t work anymore. I have money on her that’s just sitting there and I can’t use it. If I can’t use the app I want my money back. And best yet, it use to let you select a floor. I can no longer select the floor it just shows washer and dryer available. At this point I would really like my money back before I delete this app.

Laggy and a TON of glitches
As a college student I love the concept and idea of this app. Rather than running to get quarters you can easily use your card a phone to start the washer. At least this would be the cause if the app was not constantly glitching and not connecting to the washers and dryers. So rather than just being able to start your load you find yourself closing and reopening your app and having to constantly make calls to speed queen to refund you your money and then having to wait and take your closes out of the washer/dryer....I’d much rather just struggle to find quarters than struggle with this app. The only thing this app is consistent at is being inconsistent.

Some Ideas for Schools
I use this app for school and it’s really easy to operate I think some ideas for this app should be a way to chat with someone who is using the dryer/washers so that if they have not come to take out their clothes that have been completed we should be able to message them personally or if we could see a students name that is in our dorm complex so we can see who we may need to contact to get their completed items

Careful! Don’t rely on this app!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. This app has stolen my money! As I’m about to start my load cycle and my clothes are already inside the machines, it glitches and doesn’t process my request. I’ve tried restarting the app, my phone, and signing in and out multiple times. But nothing!! The issue is never resolved. Meanwhile, all the money in my account is lost. It only allows you to reload $10 minimum each time. That’s how they steal your money because they know you won’t always use it up. Avoid the app!! Just stick to using quarters and avoid the headache of dealing with such a poorly functioning app.

Unreliable, inconvenient, poorly designed
Its 50/50 whether the app will actually connect to the machine. Even if it does connect, it may give you an error starting the machine and charge you twice. Customer service is impossible to reach. The app gave me an error message when trying to use apple pay. The text message alerts have been sent to me an hour before the machine was ready. The app won’t let you pay-per-use. You have to make a minimum deposit of $10 with the hopes that you will still have money in the app account after you stop using it. Unreliable and inconvenient.

Correct 2 things
1at- I can’t see the washer/dryer timer if I accidentally close app and restart it. There should be a button I can press or something to be able to pull that back up. 2nd- when loading funds, give us the option of adding per dollar or less. The other day, I just needed .50¢ to run the dryer and had to add $10. I don’t even live in the city that uses this app. I live in a small town where the few mats I’ve checks are not using this app. So, when I leave this town I’m visiting, I’ll be out whatever funds are left in the app.

Apple Pay broken, forced me to input card number
The app used to work well enough. I agree with others that the facilities upgrading to this service suddenly go up in cost. But now I can’t even use the Apple Pay to add funds. Keep getting error 400, bad request. When I finally relented and added my card info, THEN it took the money. Funny how that works. Now watch as both companies point fingers at each other.

Speed Queen is a scam
This actually the worst application i’ve ever downloaded in my life. Multiple times i have paid for my laundry through the app only to lose $1.50 every time because it doesn’t actually dry my clothes fully. Now the app has logged me out & claims that my email is not valid. I have $10 loaded on to this app that has completely gone to waste now. It’s ridiculous that it only allows you to transfer a minimum of $10 into the app because now i’ve just lost money! Screw this application it’s a scam. you’re 100% better off using quarters. Speed Queen is a rip off & stole my money.

Handy to have, will steal money though
Great to have so you don’t have to carry cash. Very easy to use. But will frequently double charge you and it’s impossible to get your money back. Customer Service was great and helped answer many questions via their Live Chat in the app, BUT to get refunded you have to contact the owner of your specific store. I reached out, and they did not want to refund even though it was a clear mistake on their end. The app itself is awesome to have, but the people who owns my local laundromat are the worst. Be cautious and pay attention to your transactions if you download this.

Useless
Most of the time, the app can’t connect to the machines. But the rare times that it does, paying for multiple machines is such a hassle. You have to wait for each payment to be completed before clicking the next one and it ends up taking between 5-10 minutes to finish the process. The machines I use don’t have a card swipe option so you always have to make sure you have quarters, which is another hassle for those of us who pay everything on a card. Overall, poor execution of what could have been an adequate idea.

The place is nice
My only beef with this laundry place is they always have a bunch of washers and dryers out of order. Also, if you accidentally put money in the wrong machine there’s no way to stop it and get your money back. Their suggestion is switching your clothes to that machine. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Other then that, they do keep the place neat and tidy. Staff is helpful and friendly. ☺️

We travel ... a lot ... so when I saw your app in really nice laundromat today, I figured GREAT!, I can use it to find other good laundromats as we travel. Nope ... no way to find a laundromat on the app ... just hit or miss if a laundromat I find on Google has it. What’s up with that? Super simple interfaces out there for you guys to add it ... in the interim it’s an app that doesn’t have much use for me and will likely get deleted during my monthly app clean up.

Only 4 stars because
I think it’s a great app for laundry, and I use it at my university. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the minimum deposit amount being $10 gets a bit annoying when i only need X amount to add but it doesn’t allow it. I think there should be a $5 minimum at the least.

Nice to have, but you lose money
I think that this app is super helpful to use because you can see how many washers and dryers are in use. It’s also nice to just pay on your phone, but I don’t like how you can only load a minimum of 10 dollars on it. If you don’t use all the money by the time you have to leave the dorms, then you out of 10 bucks. Like, I had to move out because of Coronavirus and I still have a lot of money left on the app and now I can’t have it be transferred back.

Great… until it stops working
The laundry machines in my building only accept payment through coins and the speed queen app, which is normally fine. But then there’s times when it can completely stop working, like right now when I urgently need to wash my work uniform and can’t get coins anytime soon. Don’t trust this service: it will let you down when you need it most.

It’s really good but has some major flaws.
Why no in app purchases so I can make load up credits through App Store? Why is Apple Pay disabled but shows available even though it never works? A suggestion box to laundromat owners could be nice as well. It’s really frustrating to those of us with Apple Card’s because you have literally disabled 3% back in app purchases, 2% back Apple Pay purchases and left us with just 1% back. I am just waiting for a better option and someone will do that and you will lose business because of short term greed over long term profit. I can’t see speed queen being around for long this way being so short sighted.

Meh
I don’t like that this app only allows you to pay in increments of $5 but only after $10 so you can’t just pay $5 or $12 has to be $10, $15, and so on. You should be able to put exactly how much you want to spend, down to the last quarter. The app is bad about alerting you when your clothes are close to being done.. it gives you the option to be notified 3 minutes before your clothes are done. It doesn’t. you’ll have a machine loaded and go to scan it and it acts as if the machine doesn’t exist.. lesson learned not to do that again. All in all it’s meh. It’s a Cool concept but has a lot of issues that need to be worked out.
