As a writer on these apps for a few years, I was excited to see a notification about the new mobile writing app. More so since I usually do my writing on my phone, the idea is way more convenient. For those of those who assume this helps get your book out there and will instantly have follows and likes, that's not how it works. It's a writing tool and a way to share your work. Sort of like Wattpad or other platforms in that sense. Unless you apply for a contract, you have to share your story to push it out there. I will update as I explore more with the app, but for now this is what I have. Pros: •Has a wonderful FAQ for those who are new to the platform. •Is beautifully laid out for a mobile app compared to some other apps. •Easy access to bolding and italics when directly writing. •Can easily set publish dates if you want to set it for a certain time/date. •Can preview before publishing. Cons: •One flaw I have noticed is this: If you write on the desktop version and go to edit it on your phone, it has coding issues. Instead of paragraphing like when you do so on the mobile and draft it, a pre-desktop-draft will have things such as "
" •When highlighting already existing text to bold/italicize, you have to hit the pop up menu via the copy/paste option to do so vs hitting the B/I at the bottom of the app.
