I have checked the past reviews and noticed that none are more recent. I decided to give the app a try and have been very pleased with it working on my iPhone 12 and 13. The app allows for payments and outage viewing as well as notifications. HIGHLY recommend people utilizing the app these days.
Many reviewers have said this app does not work for them, but it works for me. Although it may not be the best ever, it does allow me to easily track my electric bill and pay it. That’s honestly all I care about. 5 stars because it does what I need it to do. Hopefully it works for everyone else, too.
I would be shocked if anyone under the age of 53 works for Swepco. Whoever is making decisions here has obviously never paid a bill any way other than by phone or mailing in a check. Paying online is always a nightmare auto pay LITERALLY (and I mean literally) never works. I thought, maybe I’d try out the app, I mean they have one so that’s a start...PSYCHE, it just redirects to the website. If I had any other option I would get my electricity from another business. Maybe I’ll just get some solar panels and candles.
You need to use a magnifying glass just to see the text on the new icon. Who thought that was good idea? Make it a logo instead! As for the app functionality, it gets the job done. See my bill and pay it no problems.
Pretty good app. The remember me feature for username and password does not work. With it green & turned on, you still always have to enter username and password. Please add Touch ID for logon. Fix these small issues and the app will be great.
There’s no point to this app besides a bill checker. You can’t pay on the app, it redirects you to use a web browser and it doesn’t even log you in for payment ease. Instead I’m having to memorize my account number (because you can’t even copy the account number and paste it from the app) and pay online just as I would with my browser. This app only is designed to take up space on your phone and redirect to a browser, no ease of use, no features. Lazy work, uninstalled. Wish I could choose a different power company.
Not a well thought out app, sure it access your account but then it takes you to another site where you need more information that I don’t carry around with me just to be able to make a payment. Absolutely useless
Since December of last year I’ve been using the app to pay my bill. All of a sudden I can’t log in to pay my bill. I have an account but I now have to go to the website instead of the app to pay. All was good until now. Can y’all fix this??
The app used to work perfectly but for the last couple of months each time I try to log on it says there’s an error and I end up having to go the website instead of using the app. It’s inconvenient
Since the CEO of the Company passed now these liberal people are now overcharging us on our electric bill I hope soon another company comes out or something happens and y’all Company dies
I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I constantly update this app.When we’ve had outages sometimes it’ll let me report other times it won’t. The bill pay is horrific and if I just want to check my bill when it uses my Face ID it fails most of the time.I hate to say it but we have power outages all the time because of where we live and it’s just easier for us to call then it is to actually use this app for anything bill pay just checking our bill if you’re getting it for convenience it’s just not worth the hassle.
