Unable to use the app at my Take 5, even though it’s advertised to download and use. I purchased a large package of $100 for the wallet as it gave $15 bonus cash. I already had the $5 it gives you for starting an account. I transferred it to a package plan and then went to choose the cheapest package. Now there is no place to see how much money I have left towards packages. It’s a bit scary because this company’s customer service above the employees who are hands on is awful. I already lost $10 due to a district manager screwing up in changing my package in the computer and am unable to get it rectified through customer service or directly at the business. I thought the app was the solution, but concerned this will end up being a similar situation, but worse.
I have been a loyal customer for over two years with Take5Wash. I was out of the country for a couple of weeks when I started to receive notifications from my bank that my expired debit card was ran through my bank 12 times in a week and a half. I contacted the location I frequent several times and no one answered the phone. I get back to the states, go to the location I frequent, and inquire with the staff, as to why no one actually reached out to me to verify my card or even ask for updated card information. I was told by staff that they have no contact or contact information with corporate for Take5Wash. This is ludacris! Very disappointed with the customer service provided through Take5Wash. I felt as though the owner of that location or if not in fact, corporate should have reached out to me via phone. Take5Wash, you must do better with your customers if you want to continue to do business…and thrive! Shelia G
App doesn’t work like it should. Don’t make purchases in app until it’s fixed!! 1. No accidental purchase safeguards: I accidentally pre-purchased a wash pack because the app doesn’t ask “are you sure?” when you just touch the screen. IMMEDIATELY debits your card on file. 2. Location to use pre-purchased wash pack won’t load, can’t use pack: I got a wash pack since I have more than 1 car to wash, but the location won’t load for me to us it. If I confirm correct before location loads, it won’t accept the barcode. Thankfully, the staff on site is super gracious as they’ve had to manually let me through twice now, which I’m sure technically costs the company money, or at least that location.
You're ripping the entire city of defiance off... everyone is paying for the premium wash.. and they're not getting it... better business bureau, defiance county economic development, defiance area chamber of commerce, defiance city and city, county and community council, defiance development and visitors bureau, city of defiance, the crescent news , any and all business's that are affiliated with a business contract with you, and anyone else I deem necessary will be notified you're stealing from them by not providing the full wash just because you're not providing the product and or products that you say you're waiting on getting delivered... I've contacted you more than 5 times total, I have call logs, recordings, reports to the wash associates that provide internet service to recommend a fix for your wash, and still nothing has been done about it..

My husband Michael Gibson gave his all to this car wash worked a job of 3 men most days worked by himself. Management isn’t loyal to their employees AT ALL and Megan didn’t fire James King when he threatened Josiah an that young man was terrified. If your not kissing her behind she’ll conjure up a reason to let you go. It’s sad that my husband gets fired behind not working ONE DAY. If she say anything else she’s a liar Megan need to be fired because she has favoritism loyalty isn’t considered nor appreciated Michael neglected his family for TAKE 5 car wash so many day but that’s my husband LOYAL TO S FAULT. Please don’t consider working for them at least not in Murfreesboro you’ll never get the appreciation you deserve.
Simply put. Sign up locally. Make sure you can manage your account online. DON’T sign up through the app! The story is I signed up through the app only to find issues of not able to use a car wash (only attempt of the week) and found that the local employees couldn’t find me in their system. The app is apparently a 3rd party company. I deleted my account through the app and signed up locally… only to find it was continuing to charge me! I couldn’t get through to Take5 customer service and they didn’t reply to my emails or the form I filled out online. I like the car wash service but this experience has not been a positive one.
Bought a coupon book through the app. The store in Kokomo Indiana does not honor them as the location shows It is coming soon even though it’s been open for over four months. Tried to get a refund can never get a manager at the car wash. Called customer service and they can’t give a refund unless they know the exact amount and what card you put something on. I was told they can’t look up by order number or by my account number of any purchases. When asked to speak to supervisor, they said it would be 7-10 business days. Don’t shop or use them!
This past weekend I went to get a car wash and was asked to sign up for a monthly membership. I signed up on site and received an email afterwards directing me to download the app. I downloaded the app, registered using the same information I used when signing up for my membership (as well as sent a copy of my window tag number). I noticed the two weren’t linked. I reached out to customer support and was informed they cannot be linked; I’d have to cancel my membership with the local Take 5 and sign up through the app. Why email me about your app if existing members can’t use it?
There doesn’t seem to be any way to remove a car, no way to remove a credit card, no explanation on how to use the app, no explanation on how to sign up for their family plan, not even any information on where the app is accepted (apparently the app is not accepted at all Take 5 locations?). I think part of the problem is that Take 5 is growing fast? At the car wash I usually use, newly a Take 5 location, the attendant had no idea how to use the app. We’ll give them a month or so to see if there is any improvement.
Horrible app. There are no descriptions for the hat the washes are and you can’t use the washes you’ve paid for without being at the location when you check in. I’m literally sitting in the line of the wash and it says I’m not close enough. My location shows I’m exactly where I am. It’s frustrating because you prepay for washes but can’t use them because you can’t check in.
A new car wash in denham springs la. I went through and was told before entering there is a 5.00 special for the month and then regular price after that. I was told you can cancel in the app any time. I in fact can not cancel in the app. They lied to every customer signing up for this. New accounts for new memberships you just got can not even be added into the app as of this time. So how do I cancel the car wash that doesn’t even clean my entire truck unless I go through two to three times.
if I would've known it wasn't gonna work at any of the locations where I live I would've got the sticker, however since I downloaded the app and got the membership through the app, every time I go to the store I have to show them the app and open it up so they can open up the gate every single time until my membership runs out, what an inconvenience for the customer, this is not the experience you want to give the customer.
I’m new to Dawsonville Ga. Looking for a car wash, signed up for the unlimited plan and after a couple of washes found out that there were a couple of employees that were so rule and unwilling to do their job, and told me I could always cancel my membership, so I told her I would do that, there is another one just down the street but it always has a line, now I know why…
This app is not just easy and efficient, but I can manage everything from one spot. So much better than I had before & my membership experience has 10x more options/customizations
Ever since the changeover service has been sloppy. Today they would not honor what we were told upon changeover that we would be grandfathered in at the original price, now they want to almost double the monthly price charged. There’s car washes on every corner, I’m going to find one that appreciates the business OR get my power washer out and do it myself. Hope you’re having better luck with Take 5 than we did.
The app seems like a great concept and other car washes have mastered this… Take5 hasn’t yet. As of now, the app doesn’t sync with my current subscription at the locations I go to, but I’m paying monthly and successfully able to use the washes, yet the app says I have a second account that acts like a ghost account that just takes out a second monthly payment so that I get double charged. Annoying app! Be better!
They have and are opening new locations all the time but for example the Denham Springs, LA location has been open a while and you can not use the app there. If they are going to have a location based app they should regularly update the locations for use.
I used them when they first opened in my area. They had a special where if you got your car washed then you could wash it for thirty. Told the attendant I would have to think about a membership, asked would my card be put in the system. He assured that it would. Checked my credit card statement and found that they have been charging my card without authorization!!!!!
Paid for monthly service. Phone app does not work with local car wash location. Received a sticker and that doesn’t work either. When the local employees look up my account (via phone, credit card, etc) they don’t see it anywhere. Easiest way to lose a customer is not even have your services work.
The website said, “Download today & get an instant $5 credit!” Went through the whole downloading and registration process, and no credit was loaded. Which goes along with a lot of the other bad reviews questioning the ethics of this company. Too bad, because I would’ve been a loyal customer as it’s in my neighborhood but I’m not down with that.
The Guys there are very nice and very helpful! Everytime I’ve gone there Chris and Chase always hello and asked how I am and always Friendly! They are the BEST!! I’ve not ever had a problem there .. and if you lose these guys .. this place will go down hill ! Those other people there are rude and never smile they could care less .. think 🤔 they rather be doing other things there are not nice to people! Sincerely Ms Fernandez
It doesn’t keep track of your transactions or wash visits as it alludes to doing. You are also unable to update your payment method no matter the method you use. It’s virtually impossible to cancel your membership or complete any tasks at all in the app. It doesn’t work at all and I’m unable to do anything on the website because it directs you to the app.
I purchased my unlimited membership online they can’t seem to find or get me a sticker so I don’t have to use my phone every time it’s just easier to drive up and beep go.. but the workers are rude like it’s my fault for ordering online I will not be renewing if I could I’d get my money back and take it to the 5 other car washes in town!
Good app. It’s so easy to pull through and scan your phone with the wash packages. I just wish there were more Take 5 car washes and oil changes near me.
Downloaded the app and started in. Can’t set up the location closest to me that’s been in operation at least six months because the app still shows it as ’coming soon’. Read some other reviews and decided it’s too much of a risk to proceed. You’re gone!
This app is worthless. It does not allow you to manage your account. You cannot get information about your membership. You cannot get information about whether the location is in working order. The phone number provided is just voicemail, never a real person.
If you bought an unlimited car washer prior to using this app, you are unable to add that unlimited car wash to the app. You would have to purchase a new one on the app. When looking for a car wash, all the places it was directing to were closed!
There are no descriptions of what each wash level includes. Also there are several activities that you can’t get back to the homeptfrom, you must close the app and then re-start it.
This app is for what? It does not tie to my member account. I cannot manage my account with it. I cannot manage my car washes with it. I can’t change my payment form with it. I can no cancel or change my membership with it. I can do nothing with it except let it take up space on my phone. This app seems to be for nothing.
Not user friendly won’t let me remove cars won’t ever respond to simple questions then I tried to delete account and open a new one since it wouldn’t let me remove cars now it won’t let me open a new one because It says same phone number magic tunnel way better
Take 5 took over for my local car wash over 6 months ago and promised this app would let me pay monthly and go to all locations. “It will happe any day now” there was the lie of 2023 I am sure it won’t get fixed til 2025 and that’s optimistic. I have taken my business to the competition best of luck to ya’ll
I tried canceling and changing the plan but it would not let me. This app needs a lot of work...Customer service does not really help. They just rather tell me that it does not work :,(
Doesnt work unless you live in 3 cities, yet they advertise it at locations across the country, where you cant use it. terrible UI and functionality, and it wants you number to do what exactly? Dumbest waste of company time and money to create the worst form of advertising thats does nothing for no one.
I recommend purchasing at the carwash location. I purchased through the app and got the the carwash and held up the line for several minutes because they had no way of verifying my wash package other than an email I showed them.
I logged out of my account to verify that I had my password saved, and now I can’t get back in. I get an error message that I’ve exceeded the installation usage, but I only have this installed on one device. Customer support so far has been nonresponsive.
The app does not work. I paid my money for my subscription and when I went to the location to get my first wash, they told me the app does not work and I now can’t get a hold of customer service and I’m out the 30 some dollars now for nothing
The app does not show my current account status. There is no contact us link to report issue to the front office. While waiting for the entry gate machine to function properly I have written this review. Y’all have a lot of problems at your locations.
Why advertise that you can get your vehicle washed at all locations when you can’t? Two of the three locations I’ve visited didn’t have the ability to take our membership purchased through the app.
Went and installed the app without looking at reviews. Put in 10 dollars trying to allow the kiosk to scan my barcode but didn’t work. Ended up holding the line since I forgot my wallet. Can’t even delete your card off of the app!

I have 1 wash left in a package of 5. When I clicked on it today, it just kept buffering… couldn’t get it to load. The attendant at the kiosk had no idea what to do. The bathroom at the one I go to is filthy…

The portal that they claim to use to allow users to cancel their subscriptions is nothing but a mass of errors and the only option is to cancel the charge card.
Their locations in Brooksville, FL do not scan so you have to wait and wait and wait for someone to take a picture of your screen and then go check the computer before they let you in the wash. Royal PAIN in the A—!!!!!
