I’ve read the reviews and after checking my coworker who have the app installed I noticed that if you have an Apple phone you can scan an insurance card but not the drivers license into the system. You can enter information manually, but given that an ID is needed for the file 🤔🤔. Individuals with androids have been fine that I have found. A great concept if it works like it should. Other than that the Web based is great
Works as intended, but could use some improvements
As a technician, this app does the job. It makes capturing and or loading photos and videos and files onto an RO pretty straightforward. I personally haven’t had any issues with the app itself. I really wish they would add push notifications for when new tickets get assigned or approved & added messaging capabilities . It also would be awesome if they could make the in-app popup confirmation messages either show up on the bottom of the screen or make it so that you can swipe it or tap it away. It usually gets in the way of the back button on the screen and you have to wait for it to go away on its own before being able to go to the previous screen.
Writing up customers is easy, and being able to present my customers with recommendations from my phone or iPad without the need to print anything out is a huge time saver especially when there are multiple customers in the waiting room. Only thing I wish the app had is the web chat feature built in but I don’t use it often enough to notice yet.
As a service writer, being able to message my customers away from my desk is huge for optimal satisfaction. This app lacks that ability sadly. I have to either send pictures to my computer and upload from there or load the web version on my iPhone. Pain because the lack of real estate on my screen makes it hard to scroll around to see what you need to do.
They need to add a way to save your login information so we don’t have to enter it every single time you need to use the app. Lots of times when us salespeople go to the app, its for something urgent.
As a service writer using this app has slowed us down. It constantly has issues with loading and changing screens. The camera function does not autofocus when trying to read vin barcodes causing you to spend 5+ min moving it around to read. Cannot make changes to ROs through the app or reply to messages. Basically is a slower way to get a customer checked in and then the rest has to be completed on the computer.
We love it and it allows us to be able to work without being in front of our computer. Super happy and excited for it and excited for it to continue to evolve.
If you work in Toyota parts don’t bother with this app unless you have a Bluetooth scanner. Camera scanning simply doesn’t work. Without that functionality there is no point in having the app on your phone. Tech support says they might get around to adding this essential feature.
I just updated the app and now it won’t let me log in. I’m logged in on my computer so I know my log in information is correct. This app is an absolute mess.
As a Service Advisor we are constantly on the move so the Chats feature would be a great function if we could use it in the app. Messaging various departments and or customers while doing the other 18 tasks we do on a daily basis would be great.
As an employee I cannot see my job list, I can only see the jobs that had been assigned to me that day which is not very helpful when I have leftover jobs from the day before. This app has the worst layout and it was honestly the stupidest decision GM ever made to make us use this.
As a tech, recording and uploading media is a nightmare, it works sometimes but a majority of the time I need to restart the app and restart a video which takes time away from actually getting work done.
Started using this app about a month ago to “increase” productivity and efficiency. Find myself wasting more time recording videos for the customer because they do not load. A bunch of redundancy through the entire platform
The amount of screens you have to go through just to open a repair order and check someone in is ridiculous. Fix the redundancy of this app pretty please with sugar on top.
