I am using Trackmate for a Bobcat Skid steer that I rent out. It is not an incredibly user friendly app but does track its location well with updates every 5-10 seconds as the skid steer is being transferred to new locations. It also allows me to set a fence at each property it is being rented at and sends alerts immediately if the equipment leaves the established perimeter. I have only been using for a month as of March 20, 2022 but am very happy so far.
First of all, this appears to be just a web app that is nothing more than a browser URL bookmark to their website. Secondly, neither this app or any other browser I tried actually works correctly. For example, if you pull up the vehicle history dialog, it is impossible to plot the history and then close or collapse the dialog without clearing the map. Thus, the dialog covers the map. Also, the history log doesn't render. Please fix these basic things! I don't need fancy, I just need it to work.
The app and the website are both horrible it’s always saying “processing your request took longer than expected, please try again later”. This is a major issue that need to get addressed as I have a fuel pump killswitch installed and can only be controlled through the app. What if I have the killswitch engage and the app goes down. Then I’m left stranded due to the app always going down
It was perfect till today ,I had to go into work but it was not letting me access it ,and it just keeps telling me to try again later ,and customer service isn’t even available
Great app, service and product if you are running a fleet on Turo. I have the Dash T-11 tracker so I’m able to track lock/unlock doors and it has a kill switch. I have a 15 car fleet and love it.
Very frequently, when I try to use the app, it just crashes, doesn't work, ir says lost connection when all other apps and my cellphone have good connection, and stuff like that. It can be frustrating at times when I disabled the engine for safety and then I struggle to enable it back up so I can use my vehicle. Something needs to be fixed, please.
The App doesn’t track vehicles proficiently. Sometimes it tracks accurately, most times it does not. Or, it will track fine for several days, even months and then all of sudden it stops tracking. It’s a waste of time so don’t bother downloading it. You can only track and view data from the website login. 👎🏼
This is terrible! Ever since the new update this has happened frequently. I need to disable the kill switch so i can use my vehicle but now the app and website doesnt work so guess what? Car doesnt turn on and im not able to run my business.
I see it’s been 2years since app was last updated. They tell you to reseat SIM card to fix Kind of hard to do since was installed by professional and hidden under dash.
I turned on the notifications and switched it off . My notifications won’t stop coming for the ingniton alerts . I logged out and all and updated the app. Please fix the notifications!
App is not real time..I get my notifications a day or two later. That defeats the point of tracking…your car would be stolen and stripped before you know it..Time to look for something new.
It constantly crashes and doesn’t seem to work. I finished registering through the website. I regret buying this and already having it installed. Never again.
App crashes regularly. Dev team has been issuing empty promises of an update for a long time. Knowing what I know now about this app, I would’ve gone with a different system.
I’ve tried to used this app, it keep glitching, switching pages on it own, get an error every other page. Why does it only have to be by username? And not by email also? If you forgot you username and try to recover it via email or number, you get a message stating “info please provide either email address or phone number. Even though it’s been enter.
THE APP WONT LET ME LOG IN Because of this I cannot use my car because it disabled my ignition and gas pump. I am stuck and stranded because of you guys. Fix this ASAP
App is useless as of now. Looks like they plans, but it certainly isn't finished yet. Still waiting for the tracker to start working; hopefully the web interface is better.
Worst app- doesn't work at all! I wish we had installed different trackers from another company. I may rip these out of our cars and cancel service- awful awful app.
Email notifications work as expected and are received immediately. I can see my car on the map pretty accurately. However I receive phone notifications days after they should have been sent, often times getting duplicates as well. The app itself is not user friendly and needs to be updated. Changed my billing plan from annually to quarterly, still got charged the annual cost for a time period of three months. Customer support is garbage and after taking a week to respond to my initial email, they tried to put the blame on me for their mistake. Instead of just refunding me the difference they owed, they issued another payment on my card which doesn’t make sense to me. So now I have almost $500 in charges on my card from their mistake. Overall disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone looking for a tracking device. Pretty sure they pay for positive reviews on Amazon to be “amazons #1 tracking device”.
Had the gps and kill switch professionally installed with a door lock and unlock. I was a pain in the butt to find the wiring but not because of the device but the Camry’s wires were hard to identify. Either way, everything’s works great so far.
