I like this app. I haven't used it much yet, but there's only one problem with it that I can find. Every time I try to log in on two devices at the same time, it logs me out of one of them. This doesn't completely prevent me from using the app because I can still open it in my browser, but having it downloaded and logged in on all my devices so I can get notifications would be nice.
I use this to monitor my work sites so I know if it goes down and can call our tech. We have web apps that customers will be calling about if they can’t get something working and so this is a great tool. My boss has the paid version and loves it. I’ve tried quite a few like it and this is the only one I still have. The developer(s) did a great job with the user interface & I’m sure with all the iOS updates lately this is a huge task. I have a huge appreciation for that side because I know firsthand the headaches that come with it. Great job! 5 stars for sure!
Really cool app. Can be used for item restock notifications!
I use this for setting up notifications anytime a hot item gets back into stock on any one of a number of retail websites. Lots or articles out there about how to do it.... very easy, very effective. Pro tip: the free version only allows for updates every 5 minutes, but most websites restock items at the top of the hour... so the best way to handle this is to set up the alert and wait to make it go live until right when after clock strikes a 5-minute interval. This way it’s always pinging the website right after those stock updates usually post.
Update: The developer contacted me and I realized the html keyword issue was with the website not the app. The developer also told me a privacy statement is coming. I’ll update to 5 stars when that comes out. Previous review: I tried to monitor a website for keywords. I manually found the keywords myself but this app couldn’t. I also noticed the app doesn’t release its privacy terms. It doesn’t have to according to Apple until the next update. Coincidentally, the app opens and updates inside, thus avoiding Apples requirement to release the privacy terms. I find that odd. There’s lots of these apps out there so I’ll try another one.
Really pleased with this app. One issue I’m having is I never get a sound notification when the monitor is back up. The sound alert works when it’s down, but it just won’t for when it’s up. The push notification displays, just no sound. Checked sound settings and have it set to sound 1.
It’s so very tempting to upgrade to the paid version because there are a lot of excellent features available. But the free version does exactly what I need, just very simple “send me a push notification if my website goes down”, it’s really fantastic
I host 50 websites on two dedicated servers and provide a highly managed service for my clients. Uptime monitoring is a key component and UptimeRobot is a value-performer. Easy to set up, fairly priced, and vigilant. I’d have given it five stars if there was a badge that showed number of downed sites or the green dot in the icon turned red if there was an issue.
The UpTimeRobot app is gets the job done and is an elegant and simple display of your status at a glance. I wish they had more alert sounds to choose from. That said is great they have their own so you can distinguish alerts from this app from all the others you may have installed.
After trying Heroku, I ruled out it wasn’t the best thing for me, so I tried searching up services that do similar things, and came across UptimeRobot! I came here after checking the website, I would like to thank the devs for their outstanding help. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t have UptimeRobot!
Clean interface, the web app was obviously written by someone with this kind of IT job. It has the stuff you need but no extra fluff. It doesn't try to do everything in the world, but what it does, it does well.
What’s available on the website is excellent. But the mobile app omits exact time of the outage and other information that’s very useful. The all events screen and export logs should be available from the mobile app. Lastly, this review section shows up in black type, on a black background. Otherwise, you guys are doing a great job with this app. You have tremendous potential.
UptimeRobot is the only service that I have found that can do Discord integration really easily and that is really important for what I do. It is perfect for small groups. One thing that would be nice is a widget that shows uptime/outages. Other than that, it’s perfect! Well done.
I have a home network, and the service can’t tell if my server is online and randomly alerts that one of several sites are down despite being on the same physical server.
This is what every developer needs in order to monitor the status of websites, apps and servers you control. At a glimpse you can know if any of your services is down. This tool is a live saver. Bravo guys
I really wanted to like this app but after a couple of weeks, I kept Activity Monitor open and noticed something was running higher than normal CPU utilization. Activity monitor was showing UpTimeRobot consuming a large amount of CPU time. Went back to the browser dashboard and will check back in on the app every few months to see if they get this fixed.
This app is great for the general use and everything but it would be a bit better if it had iPhone widgets to use in the Home Screen with a color editor for the widget and what you want to monitor
Great product. Free version is still full featured
This works great to monitor apis. We are using the free version and hope to grow out of it some day. But for a small company, it more than meets our needs for now.
As a sys admin speed and efficiency can make a huge difference when there is an problem. The app makes it easy to be notified on my phone and the layout is great When you are monitoring 40+ devices.
This app works exactly as advertised, and I’ve had zero problems with it. But it desperately needs Home Screen widget integration and Apple Watch complications. Those two things would easily make this the best uptime monitoring solution in the App Store.
I have the app set up to let me know when website stock changes and I do not get notifications but when I log into another program, I find out the item stock has indeed changed.
Great design, user friendly, no fluff, everything where it should be. I use this service for website uptime monitoring, but more recently for stock alerts. Just a brilliant service, offered in a great app. Well done!
The change log indicates support for switching between multiple organizations was just added, but I don’t see how to sign into a second organization. I have to log out/in when switching between work and personal accounts.
I got this app to receive push notifications, but they are never sent. The app says that notifications are disabled, but I’ve turned them off and on multiple times, tried deleting and reinstalling the app, etc. Without notifications, the app doesn’t provide much value.
But after my short time using it I am very impressed! It is simple, dependable, informative and convenient. Definitely worth adding to your infrastructure.
There is no way to switch between teams in the app like you can on desktop so the app is unusable for me. The overall handling of team members and notification settings were also fumbled across the board in my opinion. Very cumbersome and couldn’t seem to get reliable notifications.
App is ok but lacks ability to do certain tasks. You have to do it from the website. It’s a bit annoying to always have to go back to the web to make a few simple changes.
App have not do anything for me yet no evident that can track of my contact or anyone try to spam or hacked me. Only told me to upgrade money and money. App have to proof the for me at least first 30 day, show me where are exactly all of my contact and I will move to better .
I currently use this app to check stock on BestBuy for next generation graphics cards, and it does a fantastic job of alerting me when they’re in stock!
The mobile app is fantastic and the service thus far has exceeded any expectations I had. The free tier is great for basic checks and I’ve only begun to poke around. Great work!
I wrote a review awhile back about some bugginess, and the app recently received a redesign. It looks nice, but also seems to work quite reliably. Keep up the good work!
I have uptimerobot app installed on multiple devices, but each time I log into one app it signs my out of the other one with an error message "api_key not found" This is very annoying and has caused us to miss and outage over the weekend.
This app allows me to monitor all websites I want as long as I know the IP or the name and link! Works perfectly and no need for bug reports! PERFECT APP! RECOMMEND!
