The preview works well and the recording but the payment screen doesn’t update and the test invites don’t tell you what type of device you need unless you click on it plus my invites include some two year old tests that aren’t active anymore!
When you read the scenario and you’re saying that you can only afford $40 and you’re trying to set it up with that $40 or the amount that you are wanting us to put in as our choice and it changes it that kind of threw me off but my overall experience Was good I can make it work. I also feel like it should’ve allowed and Maurice to go back-and-forth to look at the numbers on each scenario the last one yes that did give you the option kind of go back-and-forth
Seems ironic to me that an app used for testing usability has so many quirks to it. I’ve had to do 2-3 tests with it to understand how to navigate the instructions while testing the app. It also needs to add some user feedback, like when uploading videos. I’m not sure if the recording/upload task is successful, and I had to re-open the app to find that it had downloaded 0%, but with no instructions or insight into what was holding it up. I think I eventually got my video uploaded. As a user tester, I think this app is interesting, and I’m glad to see how it works. I just have higher expectations for a usability testing app :)
App Crash Persists iPhone 11 Pro Only when Accessibility- Voice Control Toggled On
iPhone 11 Pro iOS 13.3 I installed the Userlytics app, v 2.0.19, have all Siri & Search options toggled to On and hadn’t experienced any crash issues. Today, after toggling Settings-Accessibility-Voice Control to On, the Userlytics app would crash every time when trying to open. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with Voice Control still toggled on but the issue persisted. Once I toggled Settings-Accessibility-Voice Control to Off, Userlytics app loads without issue.
Bc notifications and updates stopped and email notifications that come, seconds later I'll click on the link and it'll say test expired already. I notified the support email and somebody by the name of Xander Wright, has not responded yet at all and its been 2 days. Useless. Don't fall for the older comments when it first started out, or they may be planted comments. Or it may have been legit once before, but its definitely not any longer. I'll be reporting this to the bbb and the ftc with my screenshots and emails, when I get a chance. Let them deal with it.
The userlyrics app is fun way to make a little extra cash. I’ve been able to earn almost $200 with short website/app testing. Don’t expect a ton of opportunities, but when you have a chance to participate in a test, it is an easy way to make a little extra cash.
I enjoy making websites and apps more user friendly because I know people who use these things but don’t find them super easy. I enjoy getting paid also! The sessions are not that long and are easy to understand and do. I enjoy Userlytics!
Whatever recent update happened destroyed the app. It now immediately crashes whenever I try to load the app. It had bugs before, but at least it opened. My phone has the latest OS update and everything, so it’s pretty disappointing that I can’t do the app tests that I qualify for.
I got off to a slow start on Userlytics, but I get a few tests a month now! I can also see the user testing experience has been improved and simplified. I really appreciate that!
Don’t know if it’s only my experience but get test invites for no reason because 100% of the time I don’t qualify you answer thier questions until finally you hit the right answer which disqualifies you from the test and they get your hopes up for nothing. Like I said maybe it’s my experience but I think other reviews are just paid reviews maybe for the most part lol. I still haven’t seen one test I vote that works don’t waste your time.
I live the opportunity to earn extra cash, but the problem is that tests are for either 1) very natrow user group 2) You need to take it immediatel. If you decide to wait a 10 minutes - the test is gone already. They pay is okay... but again, this is a competitive market and if you delay by a few minutes it's already gone.
Now that I’ve made them a VIP on my email, I get the alerts and don’t miss test invitations. The only thing I would say could be improved upon is text alerts when there’s a new test available I’ve missed out on a lot of tests without knowing
This website was a very nice surprise. I am familiar with using the web in general but it is always refreshing to find a site that is easy to navigate and provides good information for completing an important task.
This was my first test and I had a blast. Despite rookie errors, im familiar with the testing instructions, and was able to recall them as I went, so it became easier. Am pumped and want do more! Ty
I’m a tester and I like the way userlytics sets up tests. The ease of operation, the friendliness and it’s questions for client (consumer) input . The app uses nice colors and text boxes that make the testers experience less complicated
Somewhat Confusing. I do not think I was using properly. Maybe after a few times I will feel more secure in giving my feed back in this app. I don’t really care for this system as of my first use.
I signed up for Userlytics to make extra cash, but so far it’s just a waste of space on my phone. They email you codes, enter on the app and then tell you the slots are full after a really long lag that makes you think the app crashed. No progress bar, no “loading please wait”. Maybe if it ever does something cool like earn money I’ll update this review.
My first experience with Userlytics was really fun! I got to play online bingo which I had never done before. I had no idea it would have me doing fun tasks!!
I love this survey app because it really does pay out which is always good, my only concern is not qualifying for more surveys but other then that amazing app.
The moderator was GREAT. Friendly & very informative but the Userlytics App itself is in need of serious revamping because the interruptions were so constant so the test could not continue. Other than that the intentions of learning the consumer’s feedback can be very useful to companies as well as to the consumer.
No back button available, time period was not enough for an accurate test and going back and forth between this app and the tested app is not efficient and difficult.
It seems when i get an invitation and I open the application it’s just a white screen after “loading up” I wait and wait and nothing happens. Missed many opportunities because of this
Finished a test daaaaays ago. Right after I finished the test I gave it an hour w/o closing the app and upload did not move past 0%. So I just closed the app. Whenever I open it, I’m given the 0% uploaded screen which is preventing me from taking any more tests. There is no way to contact customer service at all.
I had the app for 6 months and checked it every day. Not once was I ever given anything to review. I sent a support message asking about it a few times and never heard back. Very disappointed. What a waste of phone space.
It’s a good app, you can make some decent money on here but they need to boost the frequency of tests. If they were to solve this problem they’d be the best user testing site out here.
Prototype crashed after first question and the was no way to reload the site. Suggestion: always include the prototype url in every test so it can be reloaded.
They send tests at the weirdest times tbh. I live in the west coast and it’ll be like 4am in the morning. Plus everytime I try rest are always filled. They purposely make sure very few people can actually get a test. The only one I was able to do was a $3 test
No matter what I do, the uploads constantly fail. So, I have removed another star. I simply will not use the app to do mobile tests until this improves.
The app crashes and gives a ‘null’ error every time I’m about to start a test I’ve missed more than 5 tests because of that. Trying contacting the Userlytics team but the problem is still there.
I’ve been having this app for MONTHS and it is a complete waste of time, every questionnaire they have it’s nearly impossible to even make it to the test don’t get this App!
I just downloaded the app and I’m unable to try it out. As soon as I open it, it crashes immediately. Everything is up to date. I tried rebooting my phone. 🤷🏾♀️
Each time they ask what industry I work in. You’d think they are looking for something so specific like astrophysicist. Don’t send out a study if it is going to be so selective!
The Userlytics App is a state-of-the-art user testing mobile app. It allows you to answer questions and record your session (both webcam view and device screen + audio) as you interact with different digital assets and follow a series of instructions and answer questions. Earn extra money by checking out the usability of apps or a website, as you test from home, on your own time, whenever you are free. Your work will consist of completing a series of tasks and instructions, while interacting with prototype or production web sites or mobile apps, or viewing video commercials, or other digital user interfaces, while speaking out loud your thoughts, emotions, criticisms, and suggestions and while answering questions. You will be helping us make the world more user friendly, and you will be compensated for your time with whatever incentive was defined in the invitation you received. You will see, it’s a lot of fun too! Once you download the Userlytics App you will be able to use it multiple times, every time you are invited to a user experience or usability test.
