Overall great products providing an awesome experience ! The growhub makes life easier for someone who has to work all day allowing me to make adjustments to my environment and my equipment from my phone. I’ve got the aero light a100 with spectrum tuning and built in fan so I can change the light spectrum for each stage of growth while providing ample airflow over my plant. The exhaust fan works amazing. When humidity creeps up a little high it pulls the air out of the tent immediately. And the clip on fan is great too with the natural wind setting. All of it with affordable pricing for us that don’t have deep pockets but want quality gear !!
I absolutely love the tents and all the equipment from VIVOSUN - great quality products! The app has been a tiny bit difficult as far as setting the auto cycles. Sometimes it won’t register at all what intensity I’m trying to set the exhaust fan at. I’ve been trying to set it at auto with an intensity of 6 - but for some reason the fan only wants to be at a 4. And the recipes are rather tricky to play around with also. I tried to set start and end times for new recipes, but they would ignore my times and start everything at midnight…so I’m not going to mess with recipes right now. I’m home almost all day every day so I can monitor it for now. It would be the absolute best app without these glitches. Hopefully they can do an update soon that allows the app to communicate with the brain more efficiently.
I have been using this app with my Vivosun Smartgrow for 5 months now. For being a fairly new app it functions really well. I have had a few times when opening the app that I struggled to see the temp or humidity inside my tent but I believe this was due to my wifi not the app. Only other issue I have had is for about 1-2 days three months ago I couldn’t get it to save my “recipes” but very quickly this was no longer happening. I have been very impressed at how quickly things are corrected in the app if they are not functioning correctly. Great system & a great app. Thank you!
VIVOSUN has done an excellent job of predicting what is needed to germinate vegetate grow harvest what EVER U WANT! The tents the quality of the paint on the hardware ! The instructions! The packaging ! The PRECISE fitting and premo quality ZIPPERS! Now let’s get into the lights offered! There function and compatability ! MIX and ADD VIVOSUN products ! Your PHONE is all u need to check on the plants /tents interior and exterior condition! I have a 4x4 and a 4x8 I would STRONGLY recommend placing 2 inch PINK foam board under your tent ! U will Have NO issues should your basement become wet after heavy rains ! Keep exterior canvas dry ! I will buy only VIVOSUN! Get growing
The ability to control my environment all in one app is fantastic! You can change the spectrum of your AeroLight and the VSFD bar light, change your fan speeds and times they run for the AeroWave, and keep your temperature and humidity in check with full control of the AeroZesh smart inline fan. The E42 GrowHub is a wonderful device to keep my environment in check. If you don’t need a hub outside of your grow they offer the E25 GrowHub wireless dongle. Super easy to use, love that I can take it anywhere and still watch over my grow, that has been a game changer for me. I really love the layout and the way you adjust the parameters (that little clock is super handy) and I love the alert system. Totally has changed the way I grow! Highly recommend this app to anyone who is trying to be a better grower.

After installing the SGS, I can not imagine growing without it. Not the lazy way, the smart way. I can keep track of every aspect of my grow and document it easily all from my phone. I do wish I could instal my humidifier via the controller. But that’s a not a big deal at all. Thanks VIVOSUN for the great product. It made a me a better gardener.
This place is great. They have everything you need to get started and then some the solar systems they’re selling soon are perfect too. Can’t wait to get one. I do all my shopping here for everything. I need for my gardening extravaganza. I’ve shopped at many other stores, but none of them compare.
The overall system is great and the app works well once your learn how to navigate it. Only thing is, I would like to see a widget that shows the environment screen so I could check in on the system without having to open to app. Keep up the good work.
This app gives you complete control of your grow. The app has a place to record your growth with detailed information and photos you can record everything with in the app. I like that you can go right to the VIVOSUN site to purchase products.
So I purchased some smart lights from vivosun. The aerolight a100 set of 4. Difficult to navigate and to program. The simple task of setting what time you’d like the lights or fan to come on is ridiculously difficult. I like the lights! But the app, while marginally useful is pretty much crap. But you can’t use these lights without it. So i really hope a less heady tech will redo the GUI to something way more user friendly
Have yet to see how well my vgrow works due to not being able to locate the power supply cord with my recent order. No one messaged me back about this issue as of yet. But the unit looks great very easy to put together now I’m ready to grow but no power 😩

Love everything, I would wish to have a way to recover deleted grow, photos, notes etc. My kid was watching cartoons on my phone and next thing I knew my grow was deleted.
Like others have said this app is poorly designed and not intuitive at all. It tries to give bunch of data but doesn’t explain what they are and what setting you’re actually using. Example: auto mode, the parameter settings are insanely bad design. It just says No trigger…80 like what does it even mean? Like eventually you figure it out by observing the changes… but that’s a lot of time wasted
I purchased a 24 x 24 tent with the E42A controller. The controller indicates that it accepts a secondary circulation fan, a drip irrigation device and dehumidifier controls. However, it doesn’t. It does not control any irrigation product. If you plug an additional fan in, it disconnects the one that’s attached to the light, which moves very little air. The E42 only controls light, duct, and fan.
App is great.. easy to use with your tent setup acts very fast unlike other apps out there have not had any issues what so ever and also has the option to shop VIVOSUN products with unbeatable discounts
This app has been great up until the last update. The new “dark mode” needs to be changeable. Now you can’t see the hours you select when trying to program any mode. I’m guessing this is bc the dark mode makes all text white and the background is also white. DST should be a function the user changes or sets at their convenience not a setting the app has total control over.
Loving this app with my grow system. Besides working as expected on an iPhone & iPad it also works great on Apple Silicon (Apple M2 Mini, Sonoma 14.3). Keep up the good work! On my wish list is an integrated soil moisture / automated watering system.
I really love this app. You can actually set it and forget it. My only problem is that I have multiple gardens and I can’t figure out how to put a list of plants in my garden. Seeing how it’s only showing me the one garden and not the other.
Downloaded app to control fan. Fan control needs additional device. Purchased additional device. App control still does not meet expectations of what is advertised and allow precise control of the fan via timer. After selecting controls available, clicking done and saving, the settings revert back to original, and will not operate the fan. I purchased this item for a seedling tray of pepper and tomato plants to start indoors, i wanted the fan to produce a gentle breeze across them for a few minutes- then shut off, and do so on a timer. Both the fan and grow-hub controller advertise this. its poorly done and not user friendly.
It keeps my plants where it needs to be on temperatures watering lights. I love it. What else could you ask for growing inside in a tent thank you. Great work will be a customer for life.
I recently upgraded phone and now the app will not work on the new phone. It keeps saying waiting for mqtt to connect. I have uninstalled and retried. Power cycled the new phone and even reset both of my devices to pair again without any help. There hasn’t been any reply from VIVOSUN support which is hard to find in general. I should have just bought acinfinity.
I don’t understand how the app has not been improved. Schedule “recipes” and setting times is so confusing. It seems to ignore what you set and just make up times. Why when you want to run a recipe select a time and day where is the option to just run. I like your hardware but hate the software. At this point I will have to look elsewhere.
Works great, but one incredible addition would be if they could add it so you could make it a widget on your Apple Home Screen so you can monitor everything without having to go into the app
So far I Love the system! Easy set up, easy to program and run. The probe and ability to monitor readings and settings while on the back porch drinking coffee is very much appreciated!

The app is asking for a firmware update to be able to continue use, but fails when trying to download so the app in its current state is inoperable. Don’t recommend until this is fixed. I will be returning the $1000 plus worth of VIVOSUN equipment I just purchased because I can’t use the system they sold me.
I couldn’t find the grow diary section in the app, also the interface is quite confusing to me, especially when you want to see which device is currently running.
I can’t get the alarm or alerts to make noise when they notify me on my phone. Yes, everything IS turned on. I get notifications if I’m wearing earbuds but that’s rare. It would be nice to get audio alerts.
Broken before used right out of box, Then Asked for replacement but now they act like they don’t know me an want pictures of all parts . (So I sent them pics) UPDATE:2-6-24 The NEW replacement fan works fine after I was contacted by the PR team. Replacement does seem to be the same quality of 2 speed fan that worked. (I’ll upgrade to 3 stars soon an that’s fair) When I opened my box of 2 fans an 1 fan worked great an other broken in the box That’s 50/50 so u decide..
It’s not a bad company but some of their equipment just doesn’t cut it. My aerowave e6 fans have all broken. Have had 3 total and have to buy a new fan. Good for starting out for low budget
I really like the WiFi automated setup for my 2 grow tents. However having it on my Apple Watch would really put it over the top. Please add Apple Watch support!
Love the Vicodin set up but it really needs updated for 5.0Ghz internet/wifi. Seeing how that’s all I have. Would be better with 5.0 support. Sad I can’t use the app itself.
