Since the last update, every single time the app is opened or used my phone starts beeping every few seconds. The only way to stop it, is to force close the app by swiping up on the screen. I’ve also discovered that if the app has been activated by dispatch that it effects other phone functions as well. Please fix the issue! It’s extremely annoying and every iPhone user in our service all have the same issue.
This is an awesome app. Really love the options it provides. However, I just updated and now the app runs constantly in the background after I open and close the app!! I’ve checked all my setting and they are the same as before, location is only used while using app. I never had this issue before until this recent update. The only way I can stop the background usage is to power cycle my phone. Please fix this issue. Once this is fix I can give it the 5 stars it deserves.
App works great but recent updates the phone now makes a constant soft beeping noise like an old computer hard drive, app stops bluetooth streaming through radio or speakers, and radio streaming is very hit and miss. App works great for what I use it for but some minor things are very annoying. Hopefully the next update will correct them
The app has been a steady tool for our volunteer company for over a year. The only reason we don’t have 5 stars here is I think the user interface could use an update. However it functions perfectly well. We get pages and text alerts from our central dispatch system / the laptop flawlessly.
The app makes a constant beeping sound when open in the background. When a call comes in it automatically disconnects Bluetooth devices and you have to jump through hoops to connect again. When we first started using this app it was great and worked fine. Now I’m not sure of the developers don’t care about the issues or the fact that the user interface could use an update. Will be looking into other dispatching apps.
Some phones that are not iPhone are not allowed to see the messages or see the map or hear audio after the tone goes out some of the calls are scratchy and I would like it if we had a option to listen to different departments within the county thanks for your understanding
Since all the updates, the app has been trash. My phone is always connected to Bluetooth, and when it goes off now, it disconnects and only plays through the phone. Also, when it goes off, it sits there and beeps, and I have to force close it in order for it to play music or anything else through speakers, headphones, etc. it’s all trash.
Great app that can help out a FD. However, this last update causes the app to constantly run in the background, despite turning off the live radio settings, turning off GPS, and using the timers. Thus, battery life on the iPhone is greatly reduced. Needs to be fixed ASAP!!
It's so stupid. It's a free app to download but you have to pay to use tge system. You have a free demo but that's it. I have a pager app on my phone and I love it. It's 100% free. So should this!
Who’s Responding: With Who’s Responding your department will know immediately who is responding to a call, whether they are going to the hall or the scene and know there ETA at a glance. Eliminate the guessing of what personnel will arrive and be in the know. A simple click of a button from virtually any phone and the screen at your department will allow others to know you are on your way. This fast and easy information by Who’s Responding saves precious time in responding. How it works: Once your pager has initiated the call you press the “Who’s Responding” App on your phone. This automatically populates a screen within your department showing those who get to the department before you immediately who is on their way. Optionally it can also populate the screen showing your GPS coordinates so your colleagues know how far out you are. It also has a feature that allows a text to be sent and populate the screen within the department sending valuable information to those getting ready to respond. In the bottom of the screen you will be able to see who is away so you can be better prepared; helping a department know ahead of time if they may be short personnel and a secondary call can be initiated earlier. NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. NOTE: You must be a member of an entity of Who's Responding subscription in order to use this app.
