Used this app all the time and it was great...all of a sudden when I type in my letters.....the results come up with words that use letters that I don't have ????????????? Very annoying!!!!! UPDATE: the developer of this app actually read my review and corrected the problem....I’m impressed!!! Now I am loving this app again ... thank you.
Quite helpful, generally speaking, but has a couple of frustrating issues. One is that the screen will suddenly go blank and I have to enter all the letters again. After this happens a number of times, I’ve pretty much had it and just give up, rather than tear my hair out! Another issue is that, if I accidentally lightly touch a word, I end up having to WAIT for what seems a ridiculously long time while the app brings up the definition of the word, which I didn’t want in the first place! How about asking if I want the definition first so I can click ‘no’ and get on with it?
Have used this app for some time and I really loved it. Unfortunately all the sudden now when the keyboard pops up to type in the letters it covers the entire top of the the app where the letters type in it and I cannot see what’s letter are being entered. This is very annoying to me. Rebooted iPad still doesn’t work. Removed app and reinstalled it still doesn’t work. Very disappointing.
This is user friendly and my students are also benefiting from the words, pronunciations, and definitions. I look forward to everything this app has to offer.
Put the filter and its choices on the main screen and a farily good app would be much improved. Allow the filter to have wild cards and it would be better. Allow the wild cards in the filter to be different for any letter or just a vowel, or just a consonant - even better. Allow a wild card symbol to repreent a string of any length and it would be superb.
I love this app - okay so I use this app to help in word games but you can’t take away how fantastic it works. I never had an issue with this app and have used it for years. Sometimes you just need an aid like this to get to the next level in a game.
Love this word solver,especially that the words are in alphabetical order. I can find the results so much faster! Wish it would be on my kindle apps! I use this app all the time! Thank you!
This is a wonderful app. Thank you so much. I can’t always remember the word for what I think the game wants. In truth, sometimes I cheat and look up the word here because I’m too lazy to try to figure it out by myself! 😂
I like this app a lot. My only complaint is with the filter feature. The program thinks any letter used in the filter can spawn clones of itself on the spot. Have a hand, such as “dazlemi”? Search for words that contain “z” and the app will offer “dazzle” as a viable option.
The ‘Done’ button is too close to the advertisement button to ‘Install’ whatever app is being advertised. Which is most often, YELP. With my phat fingers this is too close and results in accidental opening of the advertisement link. FAIL! The app is simple, which is nice however maybe too simple. Game scanning would be a dramatic improvement.
I thought this app was the best! Never any issues! UNTIL today. Something is very wrong. You can type in your letters, and clearly see words in them, yet this app doesn't show them.
Overall very good. It does create letter sequences that are not actual words, but word definitions are just a tap away. If it’s not a valid word, the dictionary says “no definition.” Easy enough!
I used this app all the time. I like the new format. Interestingly, there are many words that aren’t listed. Many medical terms are omitted. But, I still like the app.
So many times (daily) I check a word and it’s saying it’s not a word when in fact most of them are legitimate words. You need to update your definitions. This app is almost worthless.
I use to love this app. However, recently it started adding in letters that I don’t even have so no good to me. Even after the update it still does it! I can’t use it to play any games. Must delete this app and find something else that works!!!!!
Have used this app for years and thought it such a valuable resource. Now the ads are intrusive; blocking the word solutions. What a terrible outcome. So disappointed.
